We definitely need spillage. Toilets is quite a funny idea. They'd need to be instantly recognisable. I still have a load of golden bananas!
@gjacobson7610 ай бұрын
Another brilliant idea from my favorite KZbin builder! I think you need to build a giant kraken that lives on the sea bottom. The kraken has been pulling down ships and frightening locals in Brick Nottingham! The SSP is trying to get to the bottom of the mystery. Make sure to scatter some crates, barrels, and china around the wrecks. Maybe the ships were carrying toxic chemicals that leaked into the water and mutated life at the sea bottom. What a great chance to make the scene PACKED & STACKED!
@KimaButter10 ай бұрын
The bottom shelf is really starting to look fabulous. The deck of the red ship looks really barren right now. I know you’ll cover it in plants but maybe put some red/white bricks underneath them to look like the bridge has crumbled forwards.
@RobinHoodBricks10 ай бұрын
Yeah, I reckon I've got an old windscreen frame in white that'll work well with a few random bits!
@bloodymarvelous479010 ай бұрын
The red boat could use a prop or two. If the biscuit is that deep, maybe make a couple of recesses around the boat as well. The superstructure might have a couple of broken windows where fish can swim in/out. The blue keel might look even better if it flowed with the main hull a bit more, also from side to side. Not sure if that's doable though.
@rbleisem10 ай бұрын
Robin, the red hull needs a screw & rudder, too. Will you make the stearing house, red as well? Because then you can use those other two stickers, as well.
@clintthomas185410 ай бұрын
Great idea for the cabinet 👍 Maybe for more damage split the bow from the blue haul, by just a couple of bricks and rotate it. It would greate a physical damage and cause to sinking. You always come up with great ideas 🙂
@RobinHoodBricks10 ай бұрын
I try. Thank you!
@chrischristiansen620410 ай бұрын
For ship superstructure, if one of them has a crane or hoist, that could be a great interaction point. Even if its just a piece of string draped through to have an organic shape or the fish guys have a pet tied off to it. For the blue ship, would changing a brick or two make the keel look damaged? Maybe a tiller on the back of the red one could be attached at some off angle? Given the big mouth on the shark, maybe you could have stuff falling out of its mouth if its hung up. Kind of like the crazy stuff tiger sharks have been found to eat. Maybe the red ship was attacked due to carrying some kind of elderich artifact? Maybe something that reacts strongly to uv light could be put in the crack in the blue one or deeper in the hole to hint at something being there but no clear indication on what? Maybe an eye?
@The_CardWizard10 ай бұрын
I think a nice little bit of detail would be a fish or a tentacle popping out from the little gap on the broken piece of the blue boat, showing how creatures are living inside it now. Can’t wait to see how it progresses!

I really like the 2 ship 🚢 wrecks. The angles and diagonal works really well. The fish 🐟 are awesome on the bottom (or is it top😁) boat 🚤. It’s going to look way better when you have done the ptants!!!!! This is definitely a RHB build👍! Yay in the end we got a brick haul o’clock this week!!! The blue hull looks gret, but I think the red one could need some sort of damaged structure on the deck as it now just looks like a barge. I am sure this will look great in the cabinet, and look forward to see how it ends up when you added all your plants. It is great to see how you use old Lego elments and incorporate it in to your builds.

so most ships of this size don't really have keels, they're already limited on their draft as it is, to fit into ports. Most of them have vanes along the corners of their square hull. Still, it's a nice addition of detail for these old ships

@@RobinHoodBricks True. Maybe the blue one. The Derbyshire was a real ship that sank in a typhoon named Orchid. A vent cap broke off, and the compartment below slowly filled with water unknown to the crew. The bow dropped a tiny bit lower until a cargo cover went under and imploded, then it continued back swiftly, all 44 sailors were lost.
