@@unchartedgaming4733 Well, it's impossible to build a semi auto Lego weapon shooting bricks.. Or at least as a pistol.. Same counts for the blowback and recoil. Why? Because in real guns the power to accelerate the bullet and load in a new one is inside the ammo (gunpowder). This is impossible to create with Lego in this small size. You will find some semi or full automatic Lego guns, but those always shoot rubberbands, because then the energy is inside the ammo (stretched rubberband). Some also shoot bricks, but they are really, really really big.. And I think a real Desert Eagle is also pretty bulky..

it depends on how much you shoot and how fast. If could rapid fire the Deagle (like how they do them in the old western movies) for about 10 magazines in a row before having to change the rubber bands. So I would have to say change the rubber bands every 50-100 rounds. but changing it is really easy, just watch 0:18 - 0:36

So this mechanism has no feeding lever (unlike the old pistols of yours) and relies on the downwards-angle of the projectiles to slip the flat bushing over and behind them. The blue pin with stud in the top of the magwell makes sure the projectile is sitting low enough in the gun for the action to work smootly and the string used to pull the bushing back just curls up behind the magazine when a round is chambered. Clever, very clever.

Very nice my child. You're right, the downward angle of the bullets do aid in feeding, but that is 1 of 4 of the factors that make the feeding smooth. The height of the magazine was very important (how far from the room of the gun the magazine rests when locked in place), depended on the piece I used for the magazine catch. There is actually a blue technic 1/4 pin behind the magazine that prevents the bullet from rolling backwards and pushing the bullet out the back side of the magazine. The blue technic piece on the top is actually something I came up with WHILE filming the video. It actually prevents jams completely (99.9% of the time. The only reason why I can't say 100% is because in mechanics anything that can happen will find a way to happen. But since I have installed that piece I have had 0 mechanical failures. Also technically the placement and height of the piece make it impossible to jam). Anyway the firing pin used to slip over the bullet and causing the bullet to jam at a 45 degree angle. Now I actually have a question i forgot to ask in my previous comment regarding the magazines: What's the piece on top of the magazine that prevents the rounds from flying out of it?
