@ partly nostalgia bias, I admit. But mainly it’s that Ninjagos gone on too long. The lore is constantly contradicting itself and it’s very incoherent, characters are flanderised all the time, and the sets just give us ninja vehicles mainly, which don’t even make sense. The pilots were seemingly in medieval Japan, with a bit of technology sprinkled in. But then all of a sudden in season 3 they get loads of technology for no reason With nexo knights it makes sense why they advanced so quickly due to the discovery of technomancy, so they went from medieval villages and castles to incredibly futuristic tech whilst their culture and building style stayed the same. Also the knights wear grey armour with colourful *accents* (except season 5) whereas the ninja are rainbow coloured Also, how are they ninjas? They don’t do anything sneaky due to said rainbow suits, and why would they need ninja anyway? As shown by the new ninja, there’s other ways to stop villains

This wave looks alright. It’s pretty small, and there isn’t a lot going on like the previous waves. For some reason Zoey and Logan are absent this wave which is so weird since they’re main characters. Dreamzzz had so much potential, but I feel like the theme as a whole is just crumbling and Lego isn’t putting that much effort into it anymore

Dreamzzz sadly concentrate on the "good guy" build with the bunny and the zBlob every wave but i just dont understand why they don't focus more on the "bad guys" set like they did with the shark. Back then with older themes like SpacePolice they where 50/50.

Oh good the LEGO unique theme other than Ninjago is still going. And the gaming theme actually makes decent sense for wanting to do a more 'tech' season, they're creative and imaginative and used for escapism the same as dreams are. I don't collect a lot of this theme out of really cool looking sets like the nightmare and original Z-blob mech, but honestly, those evil brain drones and nightmare gremlins are tempting. Could have some interesting sci-fi MOC potential.

Looks like season 3 of Lego Dreamzzz is gonna have a villain that’s video game themed and is trying to turn all the Dream World into a Virtual Game World. That’s getting me so excited for when it comes on Netflix. I bet someone has a favorite video game in the Waking World that’s so obsessed with it and the gaming corruption of the Dream World is based on that video game. The villians are amazing amazing every year. Got most of those, but i will probably only get the mech, after i have seen the summer sets. it looks fun and the figures are great. Might get better sets

I always encourage LEGO to do their own themes, but recently, they almost always hit the same exact notes: I have a hard time telling Monkie Kid, Ninjago and Dreamzzz sets apart. They all focus on a small set of characters, each character having their own thematic vehicle (which is either an oversized supercar or an animal mech) and all have a Hi-Tech and old fantasy mash up to them (except Dreamzzz, which is toys + hi-tech instead). These themes rely exclusively on their tie-in media for appeal, making them uninteresting to anyone who doesn't watch them. I'll get a set here and there for the pieces, but I find LEGO's original themes very disappointing in how limited they feel.

I really like the brain spiders, so I might get a couple of cheap sets just for those. I really don't like any of the minifigures in the dreamzz wave. At least in ninjago, you get ninjas, snakes, people, skeletons, etc, characters I can use for other stuff or use pieces of. But dreamzzz it's just overly colourful guys in jackets.

as a collector, i dont see much value in the Dreamzzz line. NOW as an AFOL MOC builder i see all the value in the parts and colors. I have multiple dreamzzz sets for the parts. The figs are cool too. Ashnflash to fully grasp the dreamzzz line i strongly suggest watch season 1 and 2 .

Oh boy. I do love Dreamzzz, but these sets are mostly a miss for me. I'm gonna get the Cooper jet, because that one is cool, and I'd like to get the new Z-Blob "figure". I don't understand why Cooper received a medium-sized mech when he got C-Rex in the previous wave, which is much cooler looking.

I really think this theme is super cool but I feel like there are better sets to spend my money on but I do like these sets but I would much rather have a less “weird” theme like a ancient Egypt or Roman theme or like a new power miners, Atlantis or something else. This is a cool theme and a good idea but I think Lego needs to at least have one “grounded-ish” theme that ISN’T city. It is OBSURD how long we’ve gone without a Castle, Pirates or Western theme

Dreamzz never really held my interest like other lego in house themes, it has always been a little too "out there" for me. Though I can say for certain that the previous waves all had a set or two that I could envision myself owning, I simply do not get that with this new wave. Aside from the glitchy skeleton villain, there's not really anything that is incredible or amazing about this wave and I would bet that this might be the last we see of the theme all together.
