Lego Friends Emma's Art School 🎨 almost a modular building - build & review

The design of this set is beautiful, both inside and out. Lego Friends Emma's Art School is a fantastic build, mixing lots of activities inside with gorgeous faux-French architecture on the outside. Thank you so much to Lego for sending me this set, I hope we see heaps more like it in Friends sets to come.

I love sets like this. I had to buy and build it right away, now it lives next to the hotel. I want to get the theatre too when it gets a little cheaper. They look great together. These individual sets are definitely a nicer tribute to the Friends line than what we got earlier this year. On the show Emma wanted to study art in Paris so I assume that's where she is.

I love the purple hoodie, and also to me Emma's eyes look slightly different, like in shape. I also like the mosaic, it's a cool design. The whole set is awesome, the details *chefs kiss*.

Why am I 35 and watching this feeling the dopamine rush. I almost felt light headed of joy. When I was a child, I knew a girl who had a lot of lego friends and I remember being so jealous and fascinated... I didn't get them :p I had Playmobile.

It is a great looking set, definitely would work converted to fit with modulars. Lego seems to have really stepped up the design quality of the Friends theme this year.

These are really very good. I feel as though the designers were allowed to really fulfil their ideas more than usual. Hopefully it’s not just a 10th anniversary thing, hopefully it’s a new direction 🤞🏻

What a wonderful set! And I do hope this is the direction that Lego Friends is going - slightly more difficult builds, but packed with details. My daughter is going to have to figure out how to add a bathroom. Her exact words: “How can they have a school with no bathroom, Mommy? That’s ridiculous!” I agree, kid 😂

I would assume that the grey cup in the pottery section is a cup of water or perhaps a cup of slip (essentially just clay and water mixed together that acts as a glue). I love this set I bought this one and the theatre right away. As an arts kid myself who specialized in theatre and 3d sculpting (and a lover of Lego elves) I couldn’t pass them up. They will probably be the only two I get from this season tho. As I have been drooling over the starry night painting set.

Oh I absolutely love this set and I’m definitely going to get it for my 15th birthday also Emma is my favorite character out of the five girls. I’m just imagining Tonya in this world right now ahhhhh. Also I just finished my first one year of high school today I’m so happy and seen my notification of this video made me even more happy!!!!❤️❤️❤️ Edit: when I get this set after I finish building it I’m going to make it in mod the building if it into my city. In my city is a hotel, A cinema, a subway, surf shop, A animal rescue/apartment building, Andrea accessory store, an art café, an ice cream shop, a hospital, A hair salon and like four apartments on top of that. Also no it’s not just one big line of shocks they’re all spread out into seven different areas along with the creator one bookshop with your apartment

Really a lovely set! I like this architectural style, and that LEGO is trying to incorporate some more advanced building techniques into Friends, I'd love to see it in more sets. I liked the Performance School set as well, I think it's interesting to fill in the space with your own furniture. Btw you were right about the cup of water on the pottery table, people use it for smoothening the surface of their sculptures 😀 ~Wavey ;)

I hate myself for thinking it but as someone who’s gone to a fair few fancy schmancy art programs hosted by these types of schools: when I saw the images of this set, my very first thought was that free-spirited, chaotic, goes-by-her-own-rules Emma is gonna get DESTROYED on her first project critique day.
