I remember making minifigs that sorta resembled the homemade suit of Spiderman in the first Raimi movie, and then creating levels that exploited the wall climbing and swinging features in the second Indiana Jones game. It wasn't that much of a stretch, the mechanics were pretty similar and had the looks of Spiderman abilities. Of course a lot of imagination had to be put in there, mostly because the swing had to be made thanks to the whip, and the climbing with ladders hahaha. That game was really outstanding at the time due to that feature of level creator. The limitations on the actual game levels were kinda notable, however.

The grappling hook in Agent Under Fire multiplayer was awesome.

Seeing these is really cool made me miss the fact Lego couldn't talk but grunt makes the scenes a lot funnier in my opinion

I didn't realize I wanted a Lego Tomb Raider game until I watched this video. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

I still remember the original lego indiana jones trailer. Also for a game made in 7 months, its way more enjoyable then the newer lego star wars

You're right. Lego Tomb Raider would have been the best thing ever.

Wow. So the IJ and TR franxhises were seen as competitors because of the common themes. Makes sense, but cool to know now WHY the characters have never been crossed-over.

Lucasfilm were so damn petty. Lara did similar things to Indy, but they were very much her own adventures.

I litteraly used to dream of a LEGO James Bond game. Imagine getting to play all of your favorite movies and character like in Indiana Jones. Man.

What happened to the Lego City game that was supposed to be released on the original Wii?
@legometaworld27285 жыл бұрын
They ported it to Wii U as LEGO City Undercover IIRC.
@prfo55545 жыл бұрын
Metaworld I understand that however from my memory the promotional material for the Wii Lego City game looked completely different from what the Wii U Lego City Undercover game would become. Also, I would still like to see how close to completion the Wii one was until TT Games decided to scrap it and restart on the Wii U and what they changed. Edit: Forgot a word in one of my sentences, so I corrected it

Or even the original DS. I mean hasn’t it evolved into the Wii U’s prequel counterpart for the 3DS as well?

I liked so much the old design of Indiana Jones. He would have a hat and a hair at the same time. And that's not all: he would have a revolver.

Knowing who owns the IP now? It would be harder to get Square Enix to make a Lara Croft Lego video game given their own track record..........
