I review the LEGO Ghostbusters 2016 reboot set - the new LEGO Ecto 1 and Ecto-2. It has the four new Ghostbusters minifigures, Kevin, and Mayhem, which is a new LEGO ghost minifigure! Neat! Oh, yeah, it's also set 75828, and one of the six LEGO Ghostbusters 2016 sets.

Stickers, flick-fire missiles, rubber heads, super-jumpers, and chrome hilts (not shiny) are my pet peeves with LEGO sets.

Nothing is more annoying to me than rubber pieces that aren't tires or hoses/tubing. At least with the other things you can just ignore them, but some of the coolest minifigure headpieces ever are rubber which sucks because it makes it so much cheaper.

I managed to fit all four of the old Ghostbusters in their ecto-1 but, I still like how much space this one has and the opening doors. The seating arrangement I had to make so everyone could fit was slightly strange but this feels more seamless. I like this set, even if I'm not sure about the new movie. This review is leaning me toward getting the set so thanks but, the movie will be the deciding factor. Nonetheless, great review!

Why does Lego put so much arm printing in other themes these days, but we can never get it on a figure as simple as a stormtrooper or clone trooper?

+Ben Holden I think arm printing in Star Wars is something extra special. They've only ever done it in SW with Boba Fett (twice) and other things like UCS minifigures - TIE Fighter Pilot, come to think of it I can't think of many off the top of my head :0

+LowMango yeah, I can't think of many either. It does seem rather strange that Star Wars is probably their best selling line, yet the minifigures don't seem to get the same attention as other lines. The Lego Minifigures line always seems to have lots of duel molding and side body printing.

This set is far superior in every way compared to the old Ecto-1 but it is know way as iconic. If there was a hybrid between this set and the previous one you would have a perfect set! The way this car is built is how the delorean should have been built with regards to the seating arrangement :(

I don't disagree it is a good set and you are right, others will say the original might be better but I don't think you get enough for your money in this one even with the license. The variant of Abby in the lego dimensions story pack differs slightly from the one in this set. In the story pack she uses Erin's legs instead. I'm not sure as to why lego didn't just give them all dual molded legos.
