I love this so much. I plan to build this one day too. SO accurate. I grew up watching Top Gun (like many others) Im new to rebrickable and I'm already a major fan of your creations! Would love to see other older US Navy aircraft as well someday. Some that come to mind are Phantom, Corsair, Intruder/Prowler, Hawkeye, Viking.

Great job Darth, it looks miles better then your first version. Although im not sure which variant you build. I think you mixed some things up? Glove Vanes were designed for the F-14A, the F-14D does not feature such devices. If its not a D model, but a A variant why does it have the coupled sensor pod housing the TCS camera plus the IRIS-T? But hey it's a great model and you can be proud of your product! Great collaboration with Kodiak Bricks!

I added all the details possible instead of concentrating on a single variant this way anyone can easily get what they want...removing something it's easier than adding it i think :)

Canards are the incorrect word, they’re called glove vanes and they only deployed above Mach 1.4

Its gorgeous!! May I ask if you've had any feedback from people who built it physically, the wing swing playability and strength and such? I trust that your builds are pretty stable after building your hind and frogfoot already, just curious :)

The first feedbacks had some problems but it has already been updated and I also integrated the system to move the wings simultaneously (you can still not add it if you want to move them separately). If you get it now you'll find the improved v.2 that should work without problems (or at least I still haven't gotten any comments about it yet)

Not completely sure now (I'm not at home) but it's big! Around 55cm (length and width are almost the same with the wings open)

it's impossible that the tail wings can move up on your video, they are blocked by the engine at 8:13 . The rotation of the wings sucks completely, it moves on only one fixation at 9:58 it's completely weird. The rotation is not controled. It's nice on you software but in reality it completly sucks. Same thing for the principal gear, we can see clearly that the wheels are too large in 12:52 for retracting.

This model is too heavy : too many useless bricks 2X4 inside for the structure. Actually the landing gear doesn't hold the model. That's why I completely rebuilt it and improved both inner structure and outer looking.

I assume you have build the model not only using the siftware but using bricks as well. Would like to know if it is very compact and stable enough to carry the weight if the model. And that the parts don't fall off if you have it in your hands.

I built it. The rotation of wings sucks a lot and not stable, the tail wings cant move up, the principal gear are too weak for the weight of the plane, the fonction of the principal gear cant move like in the video (the wheels are too large), the air intake are very unstable. You cant take the model in your hand and avoid to touch it because parts fall immediately... The model looks nice on software but not when it is built.
