Another method I use is to simply create a wanted list of parts and part out the set as time goes on. Certain stores might not have all the parts you need but it does make getting rarer sets easier. I parted out my Vamprah for about $11 total.

Howd you get the silver Takadox part for that cheap? People tend to list it for obscene prices.
@thegoodguychronicles9886

@@PuppeteerGaming I got really lucky and got it for $1 alongside with most of Vamprah's metru blue parts for a total of $7.50. The wings are harder to get too. I got the pearl gray wings but I forgot to buy the blue wings so I need to get those too.

That’s a great strategy to use long-term and definitely one to employ when getting a bunch of sets parted out - and wow, super impressed at the price of that silver Hydruka back plate/Takadox armor, that’s around $11 by itself in the US!

In the USA, B&P orders take a while to process and ship, understandably as it is a highly individualized service. I think it's incredible that LEGO has kept it open to most of their customer base over the years. One has to wonder though; as more LEGO fans learn about B&P and place more orders if there will be a critical point? I think it's only a matter of time before we only have Pick-a-Brick. Of course, the ideal case would see LEGO integrate B&P with Bricklink now that they own it, and figure out how to automate B&P orders for faster turnaround. At the end of the day, their profits are coming from the sale of regular production sets, so B&P is great fan service but not a crucial part of the business model.

Agreed and very interesting points - I'm continually impressed as well with just how long it has remained open, especially as quite frankly it actively detracts value away from the sets (for instance, I know a ton of Eurobricks users who were planning to get Monkie Kid sets for the figures, but instead got them from BnP). The pandemic in particular has really lengthened shipping times, although they have gotten a little faster recently, which is nice.

Is there a limit on buying bricks from lego?
@DuckBricks
@DuckBricks 3 жыл бұрын
You can only buy 200 parts max for each bricks and pieces order, but you can simply place multiple orders and LEGO will realize and consolidate shipping into one box. They also have a large order service that works the same way but allows you to get much more pieces, but unfortunately due to COVID that is temporarily closed
