Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros.[1][2] The game is based on the Lego Harry Potter line and its storyline covers the first four films in the Harry Potter series: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The game is available on the Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, Microsoft Windows, OS X, iOS and Android. The OS X version of the game was released on 22 February 2011 by Feral Interactive.The game was released for the PlayStation 4 on 21 October 2016, as part of the Lego Harry Potter Collection, which bundles the game with its sequel, Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, and was also released for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 30 October 2018. Other versions of the game were released on 29 June 2010 in North America, 25 June 2010 in Europe, and 30 June 2010 in Australia.

Wow that tune for Fantastic Beasts & Harry Potter themes are epic and crazy at the same time because these 2 franchises merged together to become the World of Harry Potter cinematic universe cuz all 15 films are set between 1926 - 2015 (Hint: 1926 - 1945 are based around World War 2 / Global Wizarding War and 1945 - 2015 are based on Voldemort's rise then fall in War of Hogwarts in 1998.)

Blitz you’re gonna have to unlock and purchase a dark wizard character early on so you can interact with the dark magic objects. (The ones with red particles floating around them)

You will need a dark wizard character. Snape is the easiest one to get. You can unlock him in the door to the right of the potions class.

hey blitz, some levels must require a character with dark magic! so i recomment playing the quidditch world level and get the character tokens and unlocking the black guy, because he has black magic!

There is actually only 1 real bonus level which is the 200 golden bricks thing. The other levels you saw are minilevels which basically you need to collect a gold brick using the given characters IIRC. Also be aware that students in peril have 1 in each level and 26 scattered around Hogwarts and there is no red brick helper that identifies their locations. I would suggest getting Griphook unlocked in a level (first level of first movie) so you can open vaults and some doors with his key. Also you'll need a dark magic user; Tom Riddle can be unlocked in a level (last level of second movie) and Professor Snape can be found in the backroom of the potions classroom in Hogwarts but both require Griphook. And don't worry too much about the oopsie of buying the gold brick, the red bricks are pretty cheap in this game.

did you know accio the last spell you can buy in this game is a new spell meaning that some of the puzzles we encounter are entirely knew compared to the originals witch i love because they remastered not just the graphics but added new gameplay to make it feel like less of a challenge also the free dlc is probably what is part of that so you buy with studs mabey a few new spells like accio but i do blive that some may be given to characters like voldermort so we have more unforgivable curses like crucio and impero not just avada kedavra witch i know salazar has

When you accidentally bought that gold brick, you should have just held down your PS button, select Close Application, and then you would have gotten you million studs back by firing up the game again.
