I loved the build too. Very therapeutic and satisfying and the upside-down build of the dome/light was genius. - Yes stickers are always a pain but for a £100 set it’s fair to have a mix of prints and stickers - I do think Lego could of gone with ‘Brick Lane’ which is a real London street name?!

Bought this set last week, and was very disappointed to find that I couldn't build both phone options simultaneously. I was really looking forward to rotating the two options. I still like this set. The light brick is a nice touch. I like the detail on the cobblestone street. The colors are nice too

Some fair points there - personally it didn't bother me and I kinda like the 90's vibe so I stuck to the younger phone model. That said, there are some cool stickers on the older rotary phone.

@@LONDONBRIDGEBRICKS totally agree. I just felt kinda mislead because all of the reviews, and the pictures on the Lego website, made it seem like I could. It's still a fantastic set though. The simplistic design fits the overall product perfectly

@@hellhound_haunt and you make your point really well. I honestly hadn't spotted the scale being 'off' but after reading your comment I the👍n found myself looking at London telephone boxes around the city and 'older' looking London street lamps and thinking yeah you're right - good spot mate!

If your bar is to measure it by parts per piece count, then it’s pretty good and I feel the price is OK but perfectly priced would be somewhere around 10% cheaper 👍

Nice idea, but the scale is wrong! Have you ever seen a telephone kiosk almost as tall as a lampost?

I've been thinking about this and yeah you'll definitely right. The lamp needs to be just a little taller and I can only think the designers didn't make it taller because from a 'secure structure' point of view it wouldn't have been as sturdy and even more wobbly.
