@SpooferJahk8 жыл бұрын
It was fun watching this because when I first played this game when I was younger, I played it on a Pentium III rig which made it at the unintended speed. I did not care then but it is crazy to see how it was intended to be played. Speaking of which, it is possible to run the game on a modern rig at the proper speed in Direct3D.
@SpooferJahk8 жыл бұрын
Mr. Eight-Three-One Actually, using dgvoodoo2 and Dxtory which has a good framerate limiter even in the base shareware version, it works pretty darn good actually IMHO. Not only can you upscale with dgvoodoo2, but since it is a DirectX wrapper, it perfectly runs it in Direct3D without a lot of hassle AND you can use antialiasing to make it look smoother.
@SpooferJahk8 жыл бұрын
Also playing with the framerate limiter, 15 FPS seems to be the sweet spot to be somewhat smooth, but also at a right speed so things aren't spazzing like mad. At worst it is like an average N64 game at that speed which isn't too bad since it is not a high action game to play.
@MrEightThreeOne8 жыл бұрын
10 FPS is the only one I found that perfectly synced up the shelf switch in the helicopter building activity with the sound effects, but yeah, 15 is also pretty tolerable.

I may not have played this game when I was a kid, but Nick is always going to be my favorite person in the game. And I even have his email! His elemental power is electricity, and he can generate from his hands, or his breath the equivalent of 2000 electrical power lines plus all of the electrical sources on the island at once which is exactly 200,000 megawatts second. That’s enough that even with one shock of any person on the island,His zap could cause insanely bad shocking, or even death. Next theme is Broken circuit by Marika Suzuki, and also fuse man’s stage theme from MegaMan 11. He is also the second generation form of fuse man, and second generation lightning ninja in Ninjago. Other powers that Nick has, aside from the special weapon for the robot master that he has the second form of, he can run at the speed of lightning, and can basically go from one side of the island to the police station in a matter of a flash of lightning.
