How do you come out with these mechanisms,how long does it take to create a mechanism from the scratch and how hard is it?

Berkin Uçar Well depending on the gun I go about things differently, usually it goes something like this I start with a concept for a mechanism, meaning I consider features of real guns and figure i how i can translate it to lego. Doing this has actual has helped me to understand mechanics better and helped me to think of real life mechanisms that can be implemented into real guns. Then i start testing the my concepts, and thats when I start "putting the mechanism together" Most of the testing process consists of, a lot of thinking and testing and lunch breaks. I have found when I'm working on something for a while and I take a break. I'll figure it out right away when i come back to it. Finally I fine tune and perfect it. Even after I post the video for a gun I'm constantly fine turning. Since originally posting the kriss vector I have made many improvements. Including, making the stock stronger, making the charging handle stronger. making the trigger smoother and the safety more reliable.

You should make some guns that have a bolt/pump/slide that you can let slam forward, it would really increase rate of fire, I know its Lego, but Technic rods and axles are great for sturdiness. You should also try making something double action.
