As much as I do want Mario minifigures, I do really appreciate this extension of the theme and having more brick built characters. These designs for baby Mario and Luigi are able to represent the characters in a way that minifigures wouldn’t quite be able to, and I think that’s fun. Definitely gonna pick up a few of these and put Baby Mario on a Yoshi

Sarah, I'm a longtime fan from Brazil, and KZbin keeps making these crappy AI "dubs" over your videos and forcing them onto me when I want to hear the original audio. (Worst of all, they give you a male voice instead of a female one.)

First thought seing the baby figures from the side: wouldn't they look better if the lateral jumper/ear combo and tile/hair were placed vertically instead of horizontally?

Could the attachments be for gliders? . While I would prefer minifigures to them, I actually don't mind the brickbuilt figures. They're way better than the dollar store interactive baby toys for Mario, Luigi, and Peach. . The use of stickered pieces makes sense. All of these decals are single use. There's not really any other sets they could reuse them in.

I think the unused attachment piece on the back of each vehicle is probably going to be later used for a glider piece.. I could be wrong but both of them are on the back of the vehicle and the type of connection invokes (imo) the use of technic parts which certainly makes sense if they decided to build the gliders with a specialized plastic sheet.

Stickers will frustrate little kids. It's also gonna be a bit sad if they get damaged from play. Kids will slam the cars together for sure.

I would guess the connection point at the back of the carts would be for the gliders in the newer games, as I'm pretty sure that is where it would connect in the game, my guess is that lego will release a car with a glider which can be removed

ok so I hadn't actually seen the other mariokart sets before commenting but after checking I am almost certain that the glider in set 72032 standard kart is supposed to connect to the rachet joint piece at the back

I honestly think it's funny how LEGO won't give us minifigures of Mario, Luigi, and Peach, and yet they have no problem making brick built characters of their baby selves.

It makes sense that the music is the same. If you were racing with someone else, and both devices were playing different songs, it would get pretty annoying very quickly
