One idea I had a while ago for the drinks was to use an old screwdriver piece in grey or black as the straw to put through a white 1x1 round brick.

This looks really impressive! I'm amazed how well integrated the lights are - that is really cool! I think you captured some of the essentials of a McDonalds restaurant with this MOC - really cool! The details on the roof really makes the MOC come together and the interior with all the minfigs makes it very vibrante! I think this build really underlines what minifig scale really is - this could seem very big in most cities, but in reality I think you found a very fitting scale for the minifigs! Absolutely stunning! You really captured that McDonalds feel, and the amount of detail just makes it so much fun to look at. The only thing I noticed is that drive through sign with the yellow arrow feels a bit out of place. Not sure what the solution is though... maybe if you find a way to scale it down?
