From how well Macaque is well versed in Wukong history when looking through his Wukong's memories, and the peach scene and how close they seem to been even in the flashbacks with the Brotherhood, it wouldn't be hard to say Wukong met Macaque before The Brotherhood. But I do agree with Macaque, he always seems so wise and more thoughtful of his actions. He does have the Ears, but just not for America. Or it could have been more to it, as Macaque wanted to be closer to Wukong and look normal. We won't know until Season 6.

And he gets more interesting because in s6 we might find out how he got his shadow powers because in JTTW macaque had the exact same powers as wukong (except the 7 immortalities) yet it never says anything about shadow powers which people have theorized that LBD isn't the only one that macaque had a contract with and how he all of a sudden has and can feel chaos powers

i always love these videos, macaque is my fav character in the show and this video did him justice! Also yes its very implied that wukong and macaque knew eachother before the brotherhood.
