Great video of an awesome set! I think that head was chosen for the smily face and the other side is meant to be "noncanon" an is just a bonus with the head. As Bricklink designer sets can't have new elements not even reprints just stickers and the box... So kinda like Mocists Bricklink designers have to make do with what ever elements are in production. And in the finished set would allow for the rolaty rate for the designer, Bricklink and Lego. While allowing for the production and shipping of the limited run and I assume profit on top for lego to use elsewhere depending on company policy for extra cash in hand. Which two faced heads have been the bane of my minifug collection since I got my first one around when they came out... Like don't get me wrong if it's two faces or nothing I think it's better we have the two faces and I do like how common they are now as a concept. It's one of the ways you can subtly see how the minifig has evolved over the past 30 years or so. And jusy one pice of evdnce of how the quity of lego has gone up... That said I almost never personly like how they are used in sets much less as a standalone fig and never as just a single element... Which them being a pain to use in Mocs/make figs with is why they are my biggest minifig bane and have been since I pulled my first out of the bag... Which the biggest issue after few hair/hat pieces hide them and if you go bald even with the new type of half headpieces you are just out of luck... Although with recnt invations like big hair pieces for even "short hair" and hair with hat pices do cover the back face enough and when common will be good enough of a "fix". And if you fig is bald you can always have single face head which should always be a thing despite new ones getting rarer by the day. But yeah this set or really that fig is a much bigger problem with the two faced heads... Most of the time you get a head with a face that is perfect and one that ruins it with the best way to hide it right now being long hair or a helmet. Serously Pick a brick online is externmly bad about this because it onluy ever shows you one face per head. And you have no idea what the other face looks like or if it has one or not... Which is a net negative as people can't find the perfect head and Lego does not get as much sells for those head that would be popular if they showed both sides and labeled it a two faced head. Not to mention I doudt tyhat anyone is satfied with getting a head that has a second face they don't like or just has one face. As a big saling point of pick a brick onoine is getting brand rare new pieces in bulk for a reasnble price, shipping time and effort... And two faces could be something you want for all your minifigs or even somthing you expect from a modern lego head. Any way just got me thinking thanks for the video!

Hey thanks for the comment. Yeah it's a cool program, but I am aware that the rules are pretty much whatever lego has in the inventory is up for grabs. Can you imagine if they allowed custom molds for entries for future sets. I bet we would get INSANE designs from some fans. Who know!?!
