What about having the staircase wrap around to the front (facing out), so you can see it more. It's kind of hidden a bit
@truebnb

I was thinking the same, could add a little more visible interest from the front. It may also make it seem a little sketchier as you have to climb around the corner of the mountain.

The stairs on the mountain are now mostly hidden on the side. Be awesome if came down from that top right corner. down and left across the mountain and round to the ninjago area. Would break up all that grey of the mountain with nice brown wood stairs.

Could make a better story, as they would start off from the Ninjago area, and have a much longer climb up that side of the mountain, making their pilgrimage even more dangerous. Currently the stairs start off already half way up the mountain.

For some reason I always pictured or thought that the stairs were going to be like a rock path carved into the mountain side. I also was expecting it to be on the Ninjago side. That’s what I had thought you had in mind.

I really think you should incorporate Spring Lantern Festival at the trailhead. Having the modulars right up next to the mountain doesn't look as realistic, and plus Spring Lantern Festival is such a great design, it would be a perfect addition.

Wrapping your wooden stairs around to the front of your mountain, a longer harder journey, also makes it easier to see. Love the idea of putting the spring lantern festival on the platform and having your waterfall lead to a cream to the ocean. I think the Disney castle needs to be the feature rising above Bricksieland on the platform.

Maybe instead of the the road going under the platform in front of the support post you could slide some modulars over and put the road in another spot. Maybe a good spot to put the train station entrance. Or just get rid of the road altogether since there is always going to be a need for more modular building spots.

Okay that mountain is far from basic, that is beyond anything I've seen and it looks superb. I like the added walkway and stairs you placed not only in front of the pagoda but the the stairs on the side too. The mountain is probably one of my favorite parts of your city just because of the amount of detail you put into it and how it turned out. You always seem to impress with how you make something out of nothing, like someone sees a mountain, you see a mountain and then a pagoda on top. Awesome work. 👍

Perfect. Totally legit Temple stairs. There are some wild staircases in the Orient. Consider Raising the Ninjago City 1 Up enough to get a suspension bridge from the temple across to the top floor of the city. Choice.

Do a corner modular building just to keep up with the theme of that top platform of buildings, because if you put the spring lantern festival up there, it would ruin the theme. Also, as other comments have said, bring that staircase to the front so it is facing out. Back to the idea of a corner modular building, consider how much studs you have to build one, it could just be a 6-8 stud wide building but have it 2-story so that there is a bit more story there. You could also just put a construction area there, that would look alright.

I would inset a black backdrop with as many studs as you have room for, that way you would have a nice train opening. Also sounds like you have a slight issue with the sidewalk at the train tunnel as you mentioned. Sounds like the train is hitting the edge each time it passes. Not sure how you can fix that though, but I am sure you'll find a way if you need to.

Hey Jordan, great work with the mountain! Love the detail on the top with the water and how the temple just blends in perfectly I like the stairs but think they should start halfway along from where they do then turn the corner to continue up on the front of the mountain and end up centrally in front of the temple. The corner turn and top landing would then be awesome viewpoints for exhausted minifigures to check out the views across the entire city! 😀 Hope you like my idea, easy to do for someone with your Lego skills!!

The NINJAGO build looks cool, rock work is ok. I find it strange that there is a large white building right beside the temple, looks out of place, corner garage also looks out of place. The water fall is kinda cool, I'm guessing it will look better once finished. Good job on adding Ninjago as it is my fav lego theme.

@Bricksie, That staircase need to Zig Zag, but also consider that it must be a challenge to climb the stairs! Perhaps some of the stairs have broken over the many years? So perhaps there are stairs but then a spot is broken and might require a little jump or climbing to continue? Perhaps there is a small tree branch here or there coming off the side of the mountain (I would say not more than 2 or 3 small branches randomly placed and with only like 1 or two small leaf pieces). Just thinking of basically any movies or cartoons where someone had to get to the top of the mountain to visit the mystical temple or something right?

Hey, I want to say I've been watching for a while now, and love so much of what you have done with your city, but I have a few small ideas I think will help with layout. So the mountian is amazing and a very smart build, but you are hiding both the waterfall and stairs, I would humbly suggest that you move the stairs either to the front or change the angle of the stairs so instead of starting in the back of the mountian it stats from the front, I would also suggest moving tater fall more up front maybe the front left corner. Second part, you have beautiful stone work for your train tunnel hidden behind your city, I would put that closer to the entrance and exist of the tunnel and leave the middle as normal rock, you would also save on slopes and plants, as you wouldn't have to detail it as much. Finally just a fun idea, and I know parts are always a premium so asking someone to build bigger is a crazy ask, but I will anyway haha. I think you should go higher with your mountian and then make a hanging rope bridge to, are you ready for this....A CLOUD CITY!!!!. you could make a shelf on you wall cover in whites and light Grey's to make a cloud base and then build a ninjago mystical city. If you wanted you could also have it supported I a very thin tower like in the dragonball series. Anyway I love what you do, congrats on the twins and can't wait to see how it progresses.
