I had this set before, I modified it's hands with weapons multiple times before I took it apart

I got the set. My two questions are why did the movie mech have bending knees, and why did they not give Kai the sword holder.

I found this set for 8$ at a thrift store. That’s Crazy!!!!!! Bag 7 was open but all the peices were there except for one which I had a spare. I’m still wondering how it was there!!!!

The minifigs? :) Minifigures do not have knees so how could they create something with knees if they have no idea what they even are. It makes sense that it was created in the Lego Ninjago Movie universe where knees don't exist.
