All my friends think I’m weird but I loved this show so much when I was younger and it’s still going so I’ve just started watching Prime Empire. This was one of the few times the “none of the events you watched mattered” trope was done well, because they did matter, while the actual consequences of the events were erased and none of it took place, effectively resetting the timeline, there was still emotional resonance left, and the way jay defeated djinn wasn’t contrived or through some crazy late game power up, but through an emotionally fulfilling regret he had carried with him throughout the season, just a great season overall, one of my favorites

Writers got rid of Airjitzu and Elemental Dragons to nerf the ninja. For in-universe reasons, look it up on the wiki. Apparently Airjitzu draws from dark magic or something, like Clouse's spells, that's why they don't use it anymore.
