True to the original Lego spirit, I'm always more interested in alternative builds. Now that I know I can use the 10295 to build a Countach or a Corvette without buying more pieces, it became a no brainer to me. A white Countach is a dream to stare at.

One little nitpicky complaint about the model: they only give you one printed USA/New York plate, and one printed Japan/Gunma Prefecture plate, but both New York and Japan require both front and back plates; they should have included 2 each. (Not that big a deal for me because when I get this I intend on displaying it with the German/Stuttgart plates anyway.) But thought it worth mentioning. I kind of would like the idea of having it with the New York plates as that would give it continuity to the VW Beetle and Ford Mustang, but being that I already have the Ecto-1 with New York plates and this is a German car, would prefer to go with the German plates in this case. (I made an exception with the VW Beetle, using the USA/California plates just because I thought it went well with the surfboard and cooler, but generally I prefer to use plates that match the country of origin if I have the choice.) It's still a great model and this minor thing wouldn't ruin it for me lol but still the OCD part of me couldn't leave this part unmentioned. Maybe if you want to go with the New York or Japanese plates you can trade your spare plate with someone else for the one they're not going to use. Love that this set has zero stickers: they're all printed, including the license plates! I'd probably prefer the Turbo for 3 basic reasons: 1. I think the Turbo is the more "iconic" look for the 911; 2. Not a fan of the segmented look of the rear window of the Targa because of how it's built; 3. the hard top Turbo will protect the interior from dust lol (I own a lot of Lego models and this has to be a consideration!).

I really liked building this set and it is a great edition for car lovers, I understand why they chose white but like others which it was Blue or Black.....I do recommend the Ferrari 488GTE...great build.....Looking forward to upcoming Speed Champions because Lego obtained the Koenigsegg license!

I just built the 911 Targa and love it. Eventually, I’ll build the Turbo, and maybe a base 911 coupe that I’ve seen done. One easy mod that nobody talks about are the wheels. I swapped the gray Targa wheels out and put on the Turbo black wheels, and they look better with the Targa, I think, because of the black roll bar and roof.

When I bought it, I didn't even know Turbo was an option. But the Turbo is the iconic version of the car for me. So Turbo was a no brainer for me once I found out it was an option. That's how I built it and that's how it'll stay.

I built the Targa without hesitation. It's the only open top vehicle in this line. I also don't like the flat line of the underside of the turbo roof due to piece limitations. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a way to maintain the iconic window line

*I will start with the good parts, stay tuned for the 'but'* It looks pretty nice in standing position, also the cockpit instruments the gear etc well done. I do like the interior the seats and their color. The Motor of the first version you built is a bit lame, maybe to create a bigger difference to the turbo version!? All in all still a nice model! *But...* ...the part that I find unacceptable is the *plague of color underneath* and even of none visible parts. If I want to modify anything I can't use those parts in any visible position. With a decent manual you can build everything even with peaces of a single colour! *There is no justifiable reason for that many 'wrong' colored peaces* from consumer point of view. Especially not *for that price!*

German viewer here, your pronunciation of the word "Porsche" hurts a little. The final E is not silent and the word is two syllables. To English ears it sounds something like "Por-shuh". Otherwise, as always, a nice review!
