Nice playthrough! This is one of my favorite video games of all time! It almost felt like I was watching myself playing because you did some of the tracks the EXACT same way as me when I do speedruns 😅

I didn’t have a console back then, but a PC and this was the racing game to play. In my opinion way superior over Mario Kart, especially with the stackable items, never seen that concept in any other game

@@cheatingandy8275 do you speedrun this game by any chance? I spotted some strats during the video. Also that double warp tunnel in the first laps of the third Basil/Gypsy level was sick!

@@ctm92 Sure, I was thinking about that before. I watched some speedruns for this game and they are really sick, but I never really tried to do them myself.

@@cheatingandy8275 Compared to other games they are quite manageable, any% glitchless (basically what you did here) is somewhere around 46min I think, so not far away from your time. Go for it!

​@@ctm92Diddy Kong Racing also has the stackable items concept (slightly different as you only need same colored items to stack and you can only stack up to twice). It's is considered better than Mario Kart 64 by many.
