I made some things different, like the legs and the rockets and the hands since I only had golden clips as in the ones on the cockpit, but the claws are the same and, I'd say mine looks pretty accurate to yours!

Does the part list on rebrickable use the sets pieces or just the extra bricks used to build the mech

That list includes all the pieces, many of which are from the original set. Rebrickable has a feature to compare parts lists. And, it can be also used for MOCs. This MOC is 'MOC-87552'. Just compare it to 70665 and you'll get the additional pieces ;)

You know you could always wbe creative and change some things up a bit like I did! I changed the horns on the helmet to be similar to the ones on the 2012 samurai x mech
