Looking good. Extra shelf space is always helpful. Instead of the Lack shelf unit, with your woodworking skills, did you consider cutting down a 80cm wide Billy bookcase? They are easy enough to cut down and would fill the left side space completely that way.

I would cut two small squares of melamine to raise the Billy bookcases up so the shelf above the door can rest on the door frame instead of in front of it

Just an idea, why not shuffle the cabinets to left of the door frame along, so that the gap either side of the door is even on both sides. Means cutting the shelf across the door frame smaller, with a suggestion of placing timber dowels in the top of the door frame, then slide the shelf with holes drilled in the back over the dowels to stop the bowing.😊

There is a 3 tier shelf for brick heads you can print on Bambu labs. You can fit 16 per shelf. It’s what I did for my collection and they turned out great.

Put your dioramatables in these rooms and create room to extend the city. Serves two purposses: 1.more attention for the displayrooms because you'll film there more often. 2. The city layout can grow by almost a third.

How about putting that open shelf unit you mentioned in between the big Billy and the smaller Billy unit? I think having the open shelves on the end may have issues when you walk by it. With the smaller Billy in the end, it will also match up with the unit on the other side.

One thing that could be cool if your ceiling allows for it is to put a couple small screws in and using fishing lines to hold some flying sets... I've done that in my room and think it's cool to see helicopters and spaceships appear to be flying :) and frees up shelf space

I love those Lax shelves! We have 4 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. I had to turn the ones in the bedroom sideways because of the placement of a plug, but they are in the corner so it worked out well.

How do you deal with any baseboard trim when using a LAX wardrobe? I have a few BILLY and had to extend the notch to clear baseboards, but the LAX looks like the vertical sides don’t have a notch at the bottom

You might be able to use additional melamine mounted as 'ribs' below the long shelf to help support it. Even a couple 2-3cm side strips running the full span of the shelf, pointed down should provide a lot of support. (And because it's all white hopefully wouldn't be too distracting)

He could get some white corner trim pieces and line them up with the doorway trim on top and it would give the melamine shelf more support in the middle while blending in with the white walls and shelving unit.

You should consider putting the open shelves between the 2 units on the left side of the door and that will in a sense create enclosed shelves.
