LEGO Speed Champions Most EXPENSIVE Sets EVER!

As a LEGO fan and car lover, at first, I wanted to collect all sets from the Speed Champions theme, but now I think I'll just go for Gen 2 (8-stud from 2020 to now) because I feel Gen 1 cars are quite unattractive and have ridiculous prices.

Yeah I’m not really a fan of the 6-Stud cars. Yeah I like some of them a lot but the ones I don’t like is because they look squashed and meh. In my opinion 8-Stud is much better.

for the last one, all you have to do is get a bricklink order of the parts in the kit, copy the stickers on the car, and boom. you have your own Mercedes AMG gift car

The Ferrari 250 GTO #22 is Nick Mason's the drummer from Pink Floyd and the #12 312 P4 is Gilles Villeneuve. Nick bought his in 1975 for $15,000 and is now worth north of $50,000,000. The Villeneuve car makes the rounds at the historic races and F1 events. I have seen it up close and on the track. The # 23 Porsche 917K is Helmet Marko, current executive of Red Bull. That car is Porsche's first overall win at Le Mans in 1970.

I feel like if you don’t have a sealed set of the Mercedes race car, for all we know it could be one taken off the Mercedes racetrack set 75883 since it is basically the same car with the same stickers and driver if I’m not mistaken.

I feel a bit better and a bit worse because I lost the lorry of the Ferrari truck set but I have the entire trailer, boxes, and instructions in mint condition. I got it as a kid and if I had a single idea of the worth later on I’d sneak it into a vacuum sealed container in a box of steel to keep it mint

No one will ever buy #1 for $2k now. I have a problem with any LEGO set going up in value so much. It's a matter of how desperate and willingness to cough up money to purchase some of these older sets. Basically any older set NIB doesn't have anymore value than the original retail price, unless someone actually pays more to purchase it.

Btw the gifted Formula 1 Speed Champion got sold to me 400€ per piece. It wasnt only handed to mercedes f1 but to formula 1 viewers with the vip paddock pass from mercedes in that year.
