Which ropes are you talking about? Because there's like a dozen ropes to be used on this crane... I do recall the ropes indeed being rather tough to figure out which one goes where. You mean the strings to extend the boom pieces? I remember it being a pain, figuring out how that string had to be routed, where to connect etc. I was jumping back and forth through the manual to figure it out. In the end I created a little diagram how the routing should work, and how it extends and retracts the boom pieces. From memory: 2x 70cm for extending the 3rd piece (one on each side), and 1x 120cm for extending the 4th piece. I'm not sure anymore how the retracting mechanism worked (gravity only vs strings). I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I just hope what little info I still remember will be enough for you to figure it out.

Where can u buy this one and the red liebherr 11200 crane for the cheapest price?
@GenieonWork2 жыл бұрын
This isn't an official Lego set, this is a MOC. Meaning you'll have to buy the instructions and separately you have to get the required parts (unless you already have all the parts needed). There's a link in the description of this video, which will take you to the MOC page on ReBrickable.com; on this page you'll also see a list of parts needed. What I usually do is export this list to BrickLink.com and order the parts from there. I'm not sure which red Liebherr 11200 crane you're referring to. There are at least two different design that show up when I google it (with a quite big price difference) As for geting it for the cheapest price: Keep in mind that if it looks too good to be true, it generally is too good to be true ;-) I know there are people who hijacked this design and are selling it as their own design as a complete set including the bricks. Those bricks are not proper Lego parts, but knock-offs. Those knock-off have wider error margins compare to TLC's very strict error margins, meaning you most likely will need quite some force, as well as glue to build the model. For me, it takes away too much of the fun building. I rather pay more for proper Lego parts. Also, the fact they don't even give credit to the original designer (Jeroen Ottens) is a big no-go for me. But your mileage might differ... :-)

Hey bro what is the Link to this Lego set i just order one on Amazon and i need your help what is the Link bro
@GenieonWork3 жыл бұрын
This is not a set, it's a MOC. Meaning it's not designed by Lego, but someone else created this design. Now if you buy this as a kit on Amazon, I'm for at least 99.999% sure you bought knock-off parts and not proper Lego parts. I've seen so many websites selling this MOC as their own. However, they don't credit the designer (they bought the instructions once, got themselves a bunch of cheap knock-off parts and are selling it as complete sets). Please do keep in mind this is stealing (they steal from the designer, because they're not allowed to sell his creation; although legally, since it's not patented, you can't take them to court unfortunately), and false advertising (since they sell knock-off parts instead of Lego parts). Also, those knock-off parts usually have slightly larger fault tolerances; because of this some parts are too tight, some are too lose, wich in turn both diminishes the fun of building as well as hindering the functionality. Parts that aren't supposed to move are falling apart, and parts that are supposed to move are stuck because you had to squeeze them in. Now as long as people keep buying these sets (which could be seen as aiding and abetting), people keep doing this. This has a negative impact on designers (if they design too nice a model, people will steal it and sell it as their own) and builders alike (because of above mentioned larger fault tolerances and all the negative consequences). If you want to support the designer, and want to have the best building and playing pleasure, I'd suggest go to the MOC page (the link is in the video description) and buy proper Lego parts (for example from BrickLink.com). It'll cost more, especially for the parts, but (as mentioned) you'll be supporting the designer as well as giving you a way better experience building & playing the model.

@GenieonWork4 жыл бұрын
The instructions can be bought on rebrickable.com (see the link in the description). Regarding the parts, the price greatly depends on whether you want new parts, or used parts. I prefer to use new parts, but that'll set you back an easy 1.5 grant. This model is straining the limits of Lego's capacities. For some functions, you'll have to help the model a bit (think for example of raising and extending the boom, extend the y-arms).

@GenieonWork4 жыл бұрын
@@kasemite619 Yes, you can. However, most likely it won't be Lego, but (at least for a big amount of the parts) some knock-off; those generally have wider error margins (pieces are a fraction bigger or smaller), making building a pain, and operation of the MOC basically impossible. I suggest paying a bit more for the proper Lego parts, so the building process is way more enjoyable, as well as operating it. For Lego, never go for the cheap and dirty (knock-off)...

@GenieonWork4 жыл бұрын
I don't recall anymore what I paid for the parts; it was quite a bit (no wonder with a MOC this size ;-) ). From Rebrickable.com I added the parts to a BrickLink Wanted List; on BrickLink.com I used the Auto-select function to order the parts. Because I primarily buy my parts new (and only buy used parts when I can't find new parts, or when new parts are really expensive), it did cost me quite a lot. I just checked, and if I want to buy the parts again, it'd cost me a bit over EUR 1800 to get them all. However, when buying used parts, it'd be apr. EUR 1400. All based on my store filters ;-) But I've to admit, prices seem to have gone up a bit in the last year. However, every time one of the orders get in, it feels like Christmas. The anticipation, the arrival of an order, the checking of the contents. And after the last order has arrived and has been checked, comes the laying out of the parts (as you can see in my speed-builds), and finally the actual building! It costs a bit, but it gives so much fun! And the satisfaction of completing each sub-model, and the putting together of the sub-models into one big beast of a crane! No wonder I like building Lego so much... :-D

@@renederooij7640 Als je op de MOC pagina op rebrickable.com kijkt, zie je in de beschrijving het volgende staan: "However there are three functions that need manual support (extending the boom, raising the stabilizer arms and rotating the superstructure)."

@@humble3301 The thing is when buying this as a kit, it's usually someone who stole the design and selling it as his own, selling Lego knock-off parts as Lego parts. These knock-off parts quite often have larger tolerances, so there's a big chance the parts either won't fit, or are too loose (and will fall apart again). That's why I don't go for these kits; I rather pay more and get the parts from for example bricklink.com It's way more fun building a model when the parts fit properly. Also, with these knock-off parts, because of the bigger tolerances, the model might not work at all (again, parts too tight or too loose)...

Corné van den Bosch I already finished some parts right now I’m up to the boom, everything seems fine when I test it, so yeah

@@carloshunter0895 Das ist ein wirklich Größe Model! Ich weiß nicht wie ich das in Haus bauen kann. Oder was die Preis für die Teile soll sein. When I'm back from holiday, I'll have a look (sorry, my English is much better than my German)...
