I love that they got the angle down on the profile of the Slave 1. All the previous ones(Except the UCS) it was horizontal, whereas it's slightly angled now.

Boba was a clone but without genetic editing, meaning he didn't age faster than usual and stuff. BUT, Jango felt like having a son of his own, so he made a special clone with no genetic editing which just so happens to be Boba. :)

The set was released 3 years ago. Of course it was discontinued. They did release a new version in 2021. The new version isn’t good though but if you really want a Slave 1, there you go

I just finished building this (Yes, I had to wait until the "set date"). I really enjoy it and was pleased that a more affordable version of Slave 1 was released. The UCS for $300-$350 wasn't something I thought is worth the price. For $120 I believe this version is worth it. Of course maybe $10 cheaper would be piece-for-piece more like it, but no big deal. I DO have the manual with the mistake on 186.:)

You should be able to get a good used UCS for the same price. This one looks like a mini version of the UCS however the cockpit glass on the UCS is better and more importantly the underside of the UCS one is much more detailed. Its actually pretty spectacular.

Most of them are actually cheaper than the RRP on BrickLink, and a lot of LEGO stores will still have stock. You'll be able to get it around it's retail price for another year probably.

I love Mandr but it will never stop frustrating me that back printing on characters is a gripe. Like why wouldn’t you want the added detail?? Especially for kids who take capes and packs off figures or want the torsos for custom figures they design for their own stuff. I just don’t see it as a problem.

TheCubixPL I mean I wanted a jabbas sail barge especially after we got the dessert skiff but that never happened though it should have. We probably won’t get another republic gunship this year since I can’t see them releasing it in the summer so maybe next year would be good after they release the second wave of the episode 9 sets however we won’t know until this time next year if we are getting one or not. I would suggest get this and then wait because you will be waiting for a good couple of years at least. I really want Lego to make one too though so your not alone.

Yeah they should definitely not do back printing with jet packs, but do more back printing where they haven’t… it’s pretty dumb, doing back printing where you can see it, but none when you can’t.

I just got this set today and all i have to say to people who dont have this set do not miss ur chance to get this set, its worth every penny and ima go with riand rait as 9 out of 10 just because how the green stud shooters stick out but thats not a reason to ignore this set. Its a really fun build with lots of fun and interesting building technics. I highly recomend this set for all lego and star wars fans. If u r not a star wars fan than this set is noth for u.
