I don’t dislike this at all. The astromechs are nice, and the accessories are kind of funny. But I really more wish that they had done something more like a droid battle pack, some astromechs with different colors, some protocol droids, couple of pit droids, maybe a mouse droid and a GNK droid. Every kind of droid outside of battle droids. Maybe with an Ant Man sized Babu Frik and like a little workshop. Something like that would have been better in my opinion. But I will still buy this. I’m not gonna pretend I won’t.

This could have worked as four individual sets in the 15-19 dollar range, but as is I think it’s lacking a target. The figure for the anniversary also doesn’t really make much sense to me either. This almost feels like a brickheads pack with sone extra bells and whistles. It could’ve worked, and it still could work - time will tell.

And why would you to try to tell others what to think and how to behave? For me, personally…I typically wait for a sale because I know, independently of anyone else’s opinion, it is a better value for me to wait on a sale, then to pay full MSRP. And we know as a fact it can be priced or lower, because they do go on sale. Right?

This would give them the option to make the droids larger and make them more pleasing to look at while still being $100. Or they could leave out two droids, and not make the other two larger, making the set $50.

I think its clearly a set made for younger kids It comes with Young Leia - Who else would even want a young Leia minifigure other than kids who saw her in the show? It’s also a gimmicky set that a kid would love playing with, clearly not something made for adult collectors since they’re not very accurate. Kids are going to be way more open to the stylized look they have since they just want to play with it Honestly I think this a great move from LEGO. I won’t be buying it, because it’s not for me. But I think it’s nice they focus on kids for a few of the star wars sets every now and then, especially when it’s sets based off the newer shows/movies coming out that are meant to bring in the future generations of fans

The size will be the thing. If the size is comparable to Bionicle/Hero Factory figures, it'll be hard for me to resist having an R2 inbetween Tahu and Kopaka. Or about the size of a deluxe Transformer. Lego R2 and Bumblebee? But you are right about the price. If I'm going to spend $100 on a Lego set, there are no shortage of other sets, I 'd buy ahead of this one.

im so split on this set R2-Q5 and Chopper look pretty cool, and I'm pretty down for them in general but everything else just isn't something up my alley If we had these guys released seperately with the gimmick mentioned on the box like the Ninjago Elemental Mechs, it would've been a better sell, at least to me
