This is a pretty cool set, but for $320, I'm expecting for every detail to be accurate to the photo depiction. I understand getting the white technique rods is difficult and expensive but lazily replacing them with black rods is unacceptable. For the price, I'd rather buy a UCS set. At least I'll get a minifigure

@@c0quinha nah, because first of all this a custom, not an official LEGO set, also this is way too small to cost 320 dollars, and it doesn’t have minifigures, this maximum should only cost 150 dollars and not even that. In the other hand, the mos eisley has 21 minifigures, some exclusive and it is a official LEGO set and a very nice one. I just want you to imagine if LEGO had come out with this y wing for 320 dollars, everyone would have been super mad with them, because that price tag is blasphemous.

This set looks alright but 240 pounds that is a big rip off the rebal y wing (in the same scale) was like 60 pounds and it had minifigures

@@BarbusCraft not really, these parts ar sourced from other lego sets, so they have to pick and choose individually. Lego makes cheaper sets because they choose what pieces need to be manufactured and produce them specifically for each set they have released

@@2000leonel He doesn't buy sets to get the pieces, The pieces themselves are most likely a mix of Bricklink and Pickabrick pieces. All the pieces probably costs 30 dollars all together on Bricklink.

I feel like the y wing is more like the f6f hellcat, it's not a completely fighter it's also a bomber,it can move fast but still carry bombs(or torpedo)

Hopefully next year the sets will be better, and may the force be with you!

I have the Lego released one, Anakins Y wing, I got it as a kid when it came out, and it had sat completely disassembled in a bucket of thousands of random Lego pieces for years. A couple days I dumped that bucket on my floor and proceeded to spend a ton of hours and several days, searching for the pieces, and reassembling it. the time spent was worth it, I love this set.

Pretty sure the technic pieces are now made in light gray, because the y-wing from episode 9 has those, and has that same bomb drop feature

This looks like someone modified 75172 into a Clone Wars Y-wing. That technique with the panels at the front of the fuselage gives it away, as does the bomb chute at the back.
