I dont like the cockpit area. The original ship has inverted windows and that makes the ship significant look, the Lego Ship has the windows printed on a sloped big piece. On the silhouette of the ship, this destroys the look of it in my opinion. I would have preferred an brickbuilt cockpit.

oh man, I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts about buying this set, when it comes out. (1) as you mentioned there is no landing gear, (2) the figures don't have their backpacks, thus they look incomplete, (3) they could have removed the 2 speeders and instead as you mentioned again, used those parts to slightly make the shuttle bigger. Honestly now I'm upset about the figures and the shuttle appears to be a lot more smaller that I thought it would be. What's even more annoying is that the imperial speeder doesn't have those pistols on the back and so the speeder looks even worse

These figures are still top of the line for Lego Star Wars, let alone Lego and their minifig quality in general, which is all over the place. I understand they could be better, but most figs can be improved. You're not really going to find better versions of them. You can hold off and see if we get more Bad Batch sets, but seeing as how they spend a lot of printing and molding on these guys I don't think they'll change much.

I love the wooden accent in the thumbnails. I feel like it gives a unique contrast balance in the camera to bring out the vibrancy and smoothness of the box and set, as well as a thematic balance to the plastic, sci-fi. Underrated vibe. Every other channel is either an amateur with baseplates, or a sterile white background.

Definitely has issues, though for me, none of them are deal breakers. I looked at a bunch of screencaps and even action figures of Tech and they all veer toward being light gray, not white. To me, the color choice by Lego makes total sense. This set does worry me though that Lego is cutting more and more corners but making the set too desirable in terms of minifigs and whatnot to pass up on. How far are they going to push this trend?

I really appreciate your video it's fascinating and amazing but especially I love the Lego Star Wars 75314 The Bad Batch attack Shuttle as well as the minifigures. Especially for the commandos minifigures. Who are Tech, Echo, Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair Plus a gonk Droid. I really love the design that u can fit the commandos minifigures without having to remove the backpack as for the two speeders the speeders design they're outstanding. And I got to say this but this is my favorite set of all the Lego Star Wars the Bad Batch attack shuttle cuz I like the bad batch attack shuttle plus the two speeders with the Minifigures Who are the Bad Batch clones Tech, Echo, Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair I really love Tech's buildable backpack and finally I'm glad that the set included a small little Gonk Droid LEGO figure.

I have heard complaints about the landing gear regarding shuttles like the imperial shuttle 2021. So either Lego cheated out on us, or decided to not put landing gear due to complaints.

Few thoughts of mine after getting this set finally myself and after having seen this and several other reviews: 1) Lack of landing gear I am ok with. It sits solidly on the ground (is surprisingly more solid than I thought overall) and I would rather have no landing gear than flimsy, and badly designed landing gear a la the 75301 X-Wing's super weak front landing gear. 2) Lack of locking top fin is unfortunate but with a bit of part rearranging/modding (depending on what you do, can be done with just the parts included in the box) the top fin can be made to attach with several studs making it much more secure and able to be picked up "gently" by the top fin if it's unloaded (try it; remove the 1-stud smooth round from the top and move up the 2x4 sand-blue tile on the top fin so that it attaches to the 3-stud light tan corner piece via 2 studs of connection (can see this very briefly in the video here at around @5:46 when he opens the top). 3) Smooth plate sections between the engines and the top fin can pop off with repeated handling, but nothing that I would categorize as a chronic design flaw. LEGO pieces angled into tightly packed spaces working loose due to flexion isn't new and imo doesn't detract away from this set being a pretty swooshable ship. 4) Removing the cargo compartment and storage bin frees up enough room to fit Gonky or Crosshair without any additional modification or pieces!!

This set is terrible, they put 2 speeders in here to increase the price, and one of them is a copy of the one in the 501st set, only tech has a backpack, this set should have included Omega, the ship itself is way too sand blue and has no landing gear, echo should have a different hand piece and a waste cape and a new helmet mold, cross-heir needs a hair piece and anantenna, why is it so hard for them to put just 2 holes in a helmet so we can put antennas in them, I like how lego's motto is only the best is good enough and they rarely ever follow that.

This set was disappointing, lego cheaped out a lot on the figures, they could have given Echo a waist cape and Hunter, Crosshair, and Echo actual backpacks. Hunter also should have gotten an exclusive hairpiece instead of the one he got. Echo also should have gotten a new hand piece for his robot r2 hand. I also think we should have gotten a new helmet mold for Hunter, Echo, and Crisshair's helmets

It would take more than just a locking mechanism. I'm sure the reason they left it out is because that top fin isn't load bearing. The only thing holding it on is a layer of studs, and if you could pick it up from there the shuttle would break and fall. Not saying that it excuses it, but it would take a lot more parts and an entire redesign to pull it off

Late to the party with the comments but I only just started watching the show. My biggest problem is that the windscreen is a sticker. It takes away the feeling that it is a vehicle. A red window would have been amazing. Set could also have been bigger as most point out.

I honestly think it’s a clear marketing matter. They know it doesn’t have landing gear, also the fin mechanism opening. They have made hundreds of these ships though they make this one with no locking mechanism and it passes their so called playability standards? They will surely be making another ship in the future like they did with Kylo Rens ship and also I can see them making another Razor Crest. They could have made this ship excellent without adding the speeders and put all the add ons to make a great ship that fits all minifigs, but no. It’s all about marketing and sales and of course their motto , nothing but the best haha !!! How things have changed Lego.

Maybe the reason why it's sand blue is because later in the show they re paint the shuttle to blend in and also I think the reason why crosshair doesn't have a range finder is after his injuries in episode 8 he gets some cybernetics to heal him faster and enhance him even more

I am disappointed with: 1) the minifigure helmets didn’t have their own molds. I really bothers me that they just used the clonetrooper helmet and repainted it. But I loved tech, except that the helmed doesn’t close. 2) the ship isn’t in the proper scale. It should have been bigger. But if it were a big ship like a millennium falcon or razor crest it would be too expensive; and the show wasn’t all that popular to sell such a big ship. So I guess they took the easier route and made a smaller cheaper ship in order not to risk a flop in sales.

I think it makes sense for Tech to be light grey rather than white, looking at shots from the show he seems more grey than white to me and if you compare shots of him in his armour compared to the reg's armour it's definitely darker than white.

Well technically crosshairs speeder is different but it only has 2 round 1x1 studs with a hole missing which the one in the 501st had

Yeah.. I hate it when Lego sets come with roofs or opening hatches that does not lock or come off just by holding the model upside down. Especially so when it's an aircraft or a spaceship--how am I supposed to do a barrel role with it??

It is a real shame. Not a bad set, but man, it has quite a bit of problems. The non lockable fin is probably the biggest problem of this set. It baffles me that even the Imperial Shuttle that came out this year has a locking mechanism but for some reason this set doesn't. Kinda disappointed with this set. It still looks really cool and I like the figures, but it has a lot of problems.
