LEGO Star Wars: Bespin Duel - Let's Build!

As most others have already said, this was originally a convention exclusive but due to the pandemic it was released on a wider scale through The LEGO Store and Target.
I despise building monotone sets but this for some reason was super fun. Perhaps it was all the greebles that kept it interesting, or the creative NPU "nice parts usage" techniques. Fun build. Love it.

Lego ASMR, for sure. It's so frustrating this set was a North America exclusive...Literally the most iconic scene in Star Wars, one of the most iconic in modern culture, and it's the 40th anniversary of TESB. Also bugging that the Duel on Mustafar set isn't to this quality either. I'm very envious of those that have it in their collection.

It's just Lego. You could technically buy the parts to build it via bricklink.

@@PeteCorp True, but it would be missing the 40th anniversary sticker, as well as, more importantly, Vader and Luke. To buy those figures costs more than the $40 that the set was originally sold for. I know Luke is about £30. The latest Vader may become more common, although, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll drop the arm printing for less expensive/special sets. However, the Bespin Luke...Well, it's Bespin Luke. You're right that the rest can be easily built though, as it's all just Lego.

@@DigitalVanquish Little late to the party but I built this set on bricklink with no sticker for under $60. Granted I had a vader but the luke has become cheap due to a foil bag. Its a great build and the sticker changes very little. I just smoothed that area over with another 2x4 tile

@@Redsox1dude Mm, the Luke is quite affordable now. I bought a copy of the magzine he came attached to. I have to say that I was actually able to get the set. A cousin living just outside Boston, Massachushetts was kind enough to let me deliver to their's, and then I paid to send the package across to the UK.

Epic set, but the fact that you are not attaching the bricks fully is really bugging me ^^ I personally had to have this one, but here in EU the prices are horrible, so I bricklinked the parts and got it like 1/4 of the new sealed price - I do not really collect boxes, they go into the attic anyway. Love the build so much I decided to create a MOC out of it. Bought some additional grey and transclear pieces, built the extension of the bridge and created the tower on the left with window coming from old TIE fighter cockpit, now the display is complete :)

I don’t understand how is this set recommended 18+ cuz it’s just a Lego set, I did see Lego sets 12+, 14+ and 16+ because they were big sets and have a lot of pieces but this one isn’t and it recommends ages from 18+ is it because it’s too violent for kids?

Naw. It's just that it's recommended for advanced builders. It's ok to buy if you're under. But it's sold out so no one able to buy, no matter what age.
