The ESB plaque is the only new part. You can build the set using the online instructions if you already have the parts on hand.

I agree. I have a Nebulon NIB... it might get built when I get the Executor, but it's box art is so great I'm tempted to leave it sealed and buy another, along with 2 Executors so I can display built and NIB together

The EXECUTOR (pronounced like the legal term). LOL, I was going to let it go until I heard it twice. It just makes me cringe. The other way would be spelled Exexcuter or more properly Executioner. The only thing wrong about this set is the price, especially considering the price compared to the Frigate. Maybe one day they'll nail it. They did with the Scythe, maybe they'll do it again at some point.

I dont like the colorful plate and parts showing either on any set. I always build sets then make a note of whatever color elements that are out of place, take the set apart and replace them with the right color. Lego could also easily do that from the beginning, why they dont i dont know, its not that difficult. If i can do it, the designers should be able to easily do it. Also, i switch out the technic pins whenever they dont match. Why is it that they always have a blue or red pin going into a black technic piece and it stands out and shows at the end? They make black pins, just use those. Really doesnt make much sense.

Colors inside has nothing to do with placement. Lego Just acts that builders are Dumb. Even the partcount per step makes you feel like a 3y old

Which, you have to admit, a lot of the newer builders find it hard to put piece in whrre if all they see is gray in the manuals. Some friends who bought a moc kit nd are new to lego had a hsrd time identifying which part went where due to the manual printing. I would certainly love color uniformity but if i don't see them, what's the problem Experienced builders like us cannot relate but this is to acccomodate new builders

I saw those studs too (2:56). Looks like Vader (the black stud) with white (Dengar) sand green (Boba Fett) brown (Zuckuss) gray (IG-88) and sand green (Bossk). Does that count as interior?

One of the mysteries from the film is how the Executor gets into position to crash into the Death Star. Can any Star Wars fans help me out? I do wonder though if this ship was built to the same scale as the last Imperial Star Destroyer how big it would be!

HA HA HA!!! I went to Lego store Bellvue WA. They had a Bowser sitting at the (lego) Piano. Absolutely Brilliant! Of course, the Mario movie had Bowser playing the piano.

No, the color bricks are because Lego wants to spare where they can... less desirable parts are cheaper. Everyone would also be able to build the modell when all pieces would have the same grey color :(
