Midi scale is what I need. The bigger star wars sets have made me almost lose interest whenever something is announced but these I can actually collect without having to disassemble when something new I want comes out

I just got into Lego at the ripe old age of 60 due to being a game designer and working on company creations full time with one of the biggest teams out there, then of course Lego Fortnite was released and I primarily design games in Fortnite, I have not stopped playing Lego Fortnite since it was released. Anyhoo, I have now started to buy Lego and just the other day managed to get the UCS Millenium Falcon set which I will be building soon (also bought 41 other sets too). This mini version will be a very cool one to add next to the UCS version, thank you for the review and I subscribed a few weeks ago to your channel. Keep up the great work 🙂. One last thing, I am also a part time English teacher here in Turkey, the Turkish Lego stores are about 1 month to 2 months behind everywhere else, so my March 1st may well be May 1st LOL.

Here's a tip if you would like to display the Falcon facing the other way (with pilot's cockpit closer to the viewer): the very top section of the stand that goes inside the model, can be easily modified to be on the other side of the main support. This will compensate for shifted centre of mass after turning the model around. Note that if you want to go back to the original orientation you would also need to undo your modification to the stand.

Definitely picking up in the Spring! I loved the Executor, cant wait to continue collecting these ships. I missed out on the first couple of Star Wars helmets so I’m happy I’ll be able to keep up with these ones.

Great review Mrs Version, I like the smaller scale ships that allow adult collectors to just display them without taking up too much shelf space, but at this price it still feels like too much.

They used a different building technique for the engines on the 2019 Falcon, but up until the 75105 set from 2015 all the Minifig-scale Falcons had that same light blue corrugated tube part for the engine glow.

Great looking display for sure. I will eventually get this one but not day one. I love that is has no stickers and agree with you that it makes little sense that the Tantive IV has so many in comparison. Great review.

Ive got the Microfighter Millennium Falcon, it's awesome. If I got this new Millennium Falcon I could put Hans Solo and Chewbacca minifigs on the flight stand.

The issue with UCS is that you basically need to buy furniture just to display it. A coffee table here, a shelve there, etc. A single IKEA shelve will hold 3+ midi-scale ships on its own.

Definitly the best LEGO Falcon. i Brought it few days ago and boy i love it. Amazing set. Enjoyed building it. The thing i was happy the most, there were no stickers, not a sigle one. Comparing to some sets of the same collection (Yes Tantive IV i looking at you!!). Heck i could probably made landing struts for this Falcon but nope, it has good stand and it stays on it. Hope LEGO will give us more such beautiful sets!.

Great review. It's my favorite in the ship collection so far, but I did not think the build was fun. I did appreciate the Easter eggs though. Also, you put the cockpit on in the incorrect orientation and it bothers me lol. Thought you may want to know.

Ah yeah I’ve had at least a few dozen people point it out across social platforms 😂 it’s done on purpose: I just didn’t want half of the unprinted side to show when in display mode (because of the angle).

I had a hell of a time finding that super star destroyer Executor here in Australia but managed to pick it up new and sealed on facebook marketplace for what it was retailing here and I was very happy with the final build P.S I will be picking up the Millennium falcon for sure and the invisible hand is an exclusive with some retailers here in australia and the only sight I have seen it on so far is Lego Australia

I like the midi scale idea however I think the 2019 falcon is far superior to this model and can be got on sale making the asking price only 35 bucks more for a lot more of a model not to mention minifigs.

One tiny nitpick: I know this will paint me as irredeemably annoying, but the thing I enjoyed the most about your Tantive IV review was that you pronounced it as it was said in the SW Radio Drama (the only canonical media in which the ship's name is ever uttered, as far as I know): TAN-ti-VEE. My delight with that review is balanced by my tremendous disappointment that you reverted to the more common (aka wrong) pronunciation here. I know this is a stupid hill to die on, but I just wanted to encourage you and anyone still reading to use the correct pronunciation, if it matters to anyone but me (it probably doesn't). 00:57 Not true….TLG ran out of ideas for helmet sets, so this is taking over! 😂 01:25 agreed, the UCS Falcon is an overrated set! Better off getting the UCS ATAT! That thing is a masterpiece! Or there’s a really good MF MOC out there, by another YTr (can’t remember his name) which is a mini figure/play scale type size except with a FULL interior! It’s awesome! Smaller than the UCS version but not much, so still hard to display!

Because it is purely a display set! I can’t think of another display set that’s this size for the same price, can you? At 921 pieces, price per parts would be around $92 so I think $85 is very fair.

There is nothing more attractive than a woman who's into sci-fi. Why oh why Lego must you continue to make these delicious looking little ships? I however do love my non-Lego UCS MF. I put the extra mods into it, lights, soundboard. It's a thing to behold. You're missing out on one of the few mega builds out there. Just put it on that Efferman stand to get it at an angle, and it fits on a shelf easily.

Nice review, but I honestly don’t see the point in these mini sets. I think Lego are trying to make as much money from Star Wars as they can. I would rather they release some other play sets for kids instead of display models.
