I had a proper headache on PS4 trying to do this with my kid. Encountered all sorts of issues. Cutscene with the ladder not triggering (found a work around - disable all cheats - disco lasers etc), then couldn’t shoot the blue plants, then when I finally managed to get the blue plants the game crashed! Nearly gave up but can confirm this is possible on PS4 if anyone else is having the same issues.

If h have someone that flies u can go straight from the main land to the secrets area for the gold brick (I used seventh sister in dlc). And u can go through the cave to get to the next section easier to

You won't have to restart the whole level. You can start from the shootout again

I had a glitch in this level, when I switched to Admiral Ackbar to dive into the water pool, the character didn't do anything, either the B button wasn't working well or the game just had a glitch.

You said you haven't unlocked every NSWA. Maybe if you disable your X multipliers you can get your true Jedi in the free play.
