Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Press Release:
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a third-person action-adventure with an open world hub. Unlike previous Lego games in which players had to advance through the story in a linear order, players can now choose to start the game from any of the main Skywalker Saga episodes and complete them in any order they wish. Each episode has their own hub filled with planets featured prominently in each respective film that can be visited and explored. Each episode will have five story missions each, a total of 45 levels.
Combat has also been revamped, such as lightsaber fights now involving a variety of combos with light attacks, heavy attacks, and Force moves, and blaster characters having an over-the-shoulder camera angle featured in many third-person shooter games.
Random encounters will also happen in the game's hub. For example, an Imperial Star Destroyer will suddenly jump out of hyperspace and send a fleet of TIE Fighters after the player. Players can choose to engage in dogfights with them or continue onward to progress the story. The game will have more than 200 playable characters, though TT Games has said that number will change.

It appears the race within this level has been made harder, you only get 40seconds now to get all check points for the mini kit. Its very difficult now and Im struggling

That sounds like a mistake? Not sure how they would expect you to beat it that quickly.. might have come with the recent patch? I have not loaded into the level to see if it changed for me... but I sure hope this was a mistake on their end vs a real change they wanted.

I hate how they changed the time in this race to 40 seconds, it's very frustrating. The best I could manage is 41 seconds in the Jedi Interceptor, and that's after an hour of trying. EDIT: I finally got this using the Jedi Starfighter, took me a while to memorize the course and it's a huge pain, but at least I finally got this damn minikit done.

It is possible to get the race minikit. I just tried out different ships and got exactly 40 seconds. But yeah unnecessary to make it 10x more difficult than it needs to be.

What ship are you using ? I keep trying that race and even with the TIE fighters its impossible to get the 40 seconds gold medal Scratch that I done that race now all I did was keep tapping the A button to repeatedly use boost

The race is now 50 seconds and doable. I just completed it.

Method for the race mini kit: Use an x wing and press A or X a few times-depending on the console. This will provide short term faster boosts. When the boost ends, rapidly press to get the boost back and then you will see the boost again. It will be fast enough to complete the race.

Have you had the glitch where you stay stuck in your ship and your character freezes?

I have not. So far I have not found any bugs/glitches in the game. I have had plenty of reports come in though... Have you tried restarting your system yet? Often a system restart will correct a loading bug/glitch like it sounds you have. Hope this helps!

Yea, we are pretty sure they messed up with the last update. We are hoping they will change the time BACK in the next update. As it is next to impossible to get now... but we don't have any news that you guys don't regarding this.. we just hope they change it back. We recommend leaving it for now and then coming back at a later date to see if it has been changed.

I struggled too. The only way I got it was delete the game and reinstall the disc offline. Straight away completed it on Ps5.

You and me both! I guess it’s unobtanium until they (hopefully) fix it. My best time is 45 seconds with the Jedi Starfighter. It’s frustrating having no frame of reference for where you need to go, and the little directional arrow telling you where the next gate is appears sporadically at best.

Yup. Happened about 5 times for me. No red targets on the vulture droids. I keep trying to get the last mini kit inside the capital ship. Game is majorly bugged. Shot 10 out of 10 MTT's and still no mini kit.

Yes they apparently changed the times on a few races. Not sure if this was intentional or not. Hoping they fix/revert it in a future update. I would skip it for now and do everything else first. Then hopefully return to it later and MAYBE it will be changed again? Hard to say..

Oh yea.. it is definitely a bit harder since the update! No doubt there. My best advice is to stick with it and try and learn the route and do your best to BOOST while going straight but also slow down when turning for more control. Hope this helps and we got faith that you will get it!!

Have you tried restarting your system yet? I know its a pain, but a restart of the system, not just the game, can often correct loading bugs/glitches like it sounds you found. Hope this helps!

In the next 10 years these videos will help many people.. but as you might imagine playing the game vs recording, editing, uploading, title and tagging... I think you see where I am going here. Sadly the developers have changed a few things since we recorded these. Some were apparently changed in the recent update, but sounds like not all? I am still looking for the answers on this one.
