Lego Stop Motion Editing and VFX Tutorial

This video has been requested a lot I thought the best way to show you how I edit my videos is by breaking down one of them. I focus on specific examples but try to keep the explanations broad enough so you can apply them to other things i.e: showing you how to composite the laser effects, but the same principles apply if you were to add gunshots or explosions. I also didn't want to go super into detail on each individual thing otherwise this video would have been 2 hours long. I hope this is a good middle ground and you can find some use out of this video :)

If you heat up figures using something like a heat gun, or even just warm water, it should make them easier to cut

Hey man, idk if you'll see this comment, but recently the stop motion app on Mac and iPhone just got an update where it is really hard to edit sound effects that you put in, have you noticed this? I switched to Final Cut Pro, my main editing software to put the sound effects in, but I'm just wondering what you do for your sound effects now?

This is nice, but as a person who uses PC (and also does more Star Wars stuff,) I was just looking for a video that could help the cool Lazor effect that you can download for phones, but I can't find anything like that for PC.

How do you have the camera set? Top of ipad or bottom of it? Because I used to animate with an ipad and I built a stand with the camera on the bottom corner and it worked ok. I could also place bricks on the bottom to elevate the camera to however high I wanted it. Honestly, kinda tricky to work with
