Lego Technic Jeep Bruiser RC

This is an RC version of my Jeep Bruiser MOC (originally alternate build of 42110 Land Rover), motorized with components from 42099 Xtreme Off-roader. The result is a dual alternate of 42110 + 42099. Features 4-link suspension with large articulation on both axles, 2 XL motors for drive, L motor for steering, manual 2-speed gearbox with RWD/AWD selector, functional V6 piston engine, manual winch, openable doors, hood and tailgate.

I love this build. Some RC tires would really help improve the climbing grip (in my experience!) I combined 42099 with 42110 and when I'm done with it I will definitely try this MOC.

This is an awesome design! Just one question before I start getting the parts, can the heavy duty variant climb a 100% grade (45 degrees) slope?

Thanks, glad you like it! Well I have never tried measuring that steep slope with the heavy duty, I remember it was occasionally climbing about 35 degrees while shooting the video, but it also depends on the kind of terrain and how much grip it has, so 40-45 might be possible, but I cannot say for sure.

What is the speed of this MOC which is the combination of sets 42110 and 42099?....... will I get the same speed as set 42099?

In general this is geared a bit slower than 42099 because it is larger and heavier, and it's designed for climbing rocks. The gearbox variant has two speeds, high gear is still a little bit slower than 42099. In the heavy duty variant the gearing can be changed to faster than on the video (by swapping 2 gears), but also a little bit slower than 42099.

good job! I have now finished building the Lego Defender and I own a Jeep Gladiator: with your Bruiser you are very close to the Gladiator… do you plan to make a version and sell it to Lego? White, as mine is with the MOJAVE hood, please🙏😉👍💪

Thanks, yes it's similar to the Gladiator, but based on a different real-world model. But Lego does not buy plans from individuals..
