Can you make instructions on the front suspension and steering it would be super helpful
@Slovflyer2 жыл бұрын
One thing I haven't seen tried in many of these types of truck builds is actual oil shocks - you can find the perfect size for this scale Lego MOC from any hobby grade RC parts catalog. Lots of websites and brands. You can tune the performance of the shock's dampening using different internal pistons, and even different oil types (viscosity). That would possibly make the Lego truck handle smaller bumps without getting bouncy and larger jumps without bottoming out as much. Even with RC trucks, you can tell a world of difference in handling when using *boinger* shocks (toy like springs only) vs oil filled shocks. shocks+springs.

@nubia26214 жыл бұрын
effective, durable and yet simple, that is the holy grail of design, even has the aesthetics of the real trophy truck when going over rough terrain or even driving off a ledge the chassis is barely even moving up or down or wobbling, the suspension does all the movement, that is when you know, it is done right the slow motion sections really make you appreciate the choices, you have made, well done sir

Really incredible build, but i have seen a video explaining that a suspension should not be that soft in a vehicle, because , just like in your cool creation, the wheels are bouncing a lot and that reduces your traction. What i suggest is that you move the rear springs one stud closer to the rear wheels and test it in slow motion. By the way that slow mo is so nice, keep it up.
@Slovflyer2 жыл бұрын
Look into RC vehicle 1/10th scale oil-filled shocks. You can tune them for the right amount of dampening. The truck should handle much better over bumps with those. 🙂

a per cert jo crec que es per culpa de la direccio perque es una direccio bastant dolenta (la del buggy off-road 42124) i el frena, crec que nesesitariem un servo motor ,oi?🤔

You may want to try doing a 3 or 4 link suspension using ball joints and a watts link in the rear to allow better articulation vs just having both wheels move together.
