Your Creation is awsome, i try to rebuild the Excravator from the Pics and lxf File. It ist the best working Excravator i have seen. Impressive. That'd actually the first Lego RC excavator I've seen which has an operating tempo which does not make the user/player lose his/her temper. Using an RC/Buggy motor for the boom is a brilliant idea. Do you have separate battery and RC units for topside/bottomisde functions?

I want to build a wheel excavator using your model as a guide, so I have some questions: 1. I see only one battery case, so the power supply to the upper parts is provided by this battery case using the connecting cable? If this is the case, the the upper part cannot be turned 360 degrees continuously? 2. I see only 3 motors on the upper parts for 4 movements, turret, stick, boom and bucket. Where is the fourth motor? I am sorry to bother you eventhough this model has been released for over 4 years. Thanks & Best Regards, Norman

Hi ! No problem, I still remember roughly how it was. 1. Yes there's only 1 power supply on the lower part. The turret is powered through a connecting cable. Then you can't do several 360°. But it's not important to me, I prefered the global compacity. 2. There's a 4th motor in the turret. The RC motor 5292, powering the boom. www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=5292#T=C&C=11 It's the most powerful Lego motor, I used it to have a really fast boom actuation.
