After watching this video and the vid review of the TMNT Shen Yuan set, I have to say that the Decool ones looks just a little bit crisper. The most noticable difference that I could see was the back of the Turtle characters headbands. On the SY set they were kinda clumped together with the head and just painted a bit, which looked rather poor. On these you can see that the headbands are seperated from the head and it just looks so much better and this little difference sets them ahead of the competition as I see it. Oh and don't forget the pizzas and skateboards! ^^ I just wanted to point that out as no comparison to the other bootleg set were made (maybe I missed it). Great job otherwise, thank you for doing these reviews and know that I'll be using your videos as a way to preview stuff before I make up my mind about them!

I just bought this set for $6. The build is a little different now. Mikey nun chucks has a metal chain which is all kinds of cool. The legs have the normal lego pegs. The other stuff was about the same in your video. I actually bought the real lego turtles and only bought the bootleg set to compare them. The bootlegs are ok if you are just looking at them but might be to brittle for a kid to play with. They are great for extra parts like swords, shells and skateboards.

I bought two of these sets for $10 per set on eBay, which includes the 4 turtles, splinter & shredder, the skateboards and weapons. Not sure about the pizzas. I would rather buy these at 1/10th of the cost of the official Legos. One of my nephews spent $100 to buy official lego sets in order to get the 4 turtles, splinter and shredder. No thanks. :p

yes i would, becuase it's so cheap, for me personally, i would get some of the real lego sets and get these for the different faces

Besides the sharpness is there any regularities like holes that the real legos don't have?

nope, decool copies lego 1:1, there is a slight difference with the pegs at the top of the hips, but since that is inside the torso and you cant see it, it's not a big problem for display.
