Jason, what you do is incredible. Seriously. I never thought a printer would be possible with LEGO, and I never thought a telegraph would be possible with LEGO. But then you go and combine the two into a TELEGRAPH PRINTER!! Everything you make is amazing, keep on doing what you do because I love seeing what you come up with.

Hi Jason, I decided to build this printer and it works surprisingly. But, in your video the text is quite large, but I have a small one and nothing is clear. After loading the file into the block, I found the TextSize program and after I click “run” nothing happens, and in the Printer program there is no block of text size. How to increase text size for Printer? Really looking forward to the answer. Sorry for my English, I'm from Russia.

Hi, rly amazing build! But how do you calibrate the movement of the pen along the X-axis? How does it know its position relative to the center?

+Omgtired The wheels that control moving the pen from side to side can actually slip, so if you start calibrating with the pen too far to one side, the wheels will slip when the pen gets to that side. So it will essentially calibrate itself while you run the calibrate program.

okay, thx for the explanation. Actually, I read somewhere about technic for calibration where you provide motor with constant (but relatively low) power, and track its movement speed, as soon as it starts to slow down (which is due to the fact that it reached its movement limit in the system) you stop the motor and set this position as a reference point. Wonder if you had any experience with using that.

if u want 2 make this on your own click in the description, ther u find the instructions, if u want the program, its also on the website, the download it and open it with the mindstorms program, connect it with ur Brick via USB and download it. enjoy! hope this was helpful
