You have to hold it then lock onto something(aka the yellow bar on the screen down below) in order to throw the guy it takes a while to figure out it took me like 3 or more tries

I am stuck at the part at 20:45 , I get frozone onto the thing that you build and he spins on then I switch to Bob, I go to punch the thing to send frozone up and bob misses every time .. like he just flexes ... any suggestions ?
