Dude as someone who used to do a lot of stopmotion this is really amazing. The topic is perfect, I love this aspect of star wars so much. It kind of reminds me of World War II stories or stories from the losing perspective. Really amazing video.

I just love the detail of the two brothers seeing a different perspective of the Imperial's actions against the Pirates, one seeing them save the day while the other sees them brutally execute a POW. Excellent Story that required no dialogue to portray events.

1:32 Fun fact: after the Kamino uprising in 12 BBY Palpatine decided to use a variety of templates for clones before human recruitment and eventually only the 501st remained pure Jango Fett clones. As one member of the 501st said, they never really got used to the new guys

Can't believe I just found out about this video! Awesome work, the story is one of the most detailed that I've ever seen in a star wars stop motion animation. Okay, so pirates and crime are the one thing that never changes in Star Wars and ironically the Rebels need to make such associations to survive and stay low. No matter what government is in charge, nobody can handle it. How exactly does the Resistance plan on dealing with this as fighting crime seems to be one of the biggest reasons people become imperials besides being speciest.

I'm just using the official date, but the empire spent as much time fighting itself as it did the new republic. Palatine's contingency plan was to have the empire destroy itself which it did before the loyalists escaped to the unknown regions. There were imperial factions still in the galaxy like Moff Gideon, but after Jakku the New Republic were in control of most of the galaxy.

@@MKLegoproductions Which is just textbook stupid. Trust me, for that era under Disney, it’s just stupid and (at least as far as Star Wars goes) unrealistic even for their universe. But as I said it can work if they just say it’s them kicking the rear of ONE Warlord faction. This is the issue: it’s pretty clear Disney likes to treat their audience as if they’re idiots (especially around this time)
