No man it was Shelly Duvall who played Wendy who ironically got SUPER SCARED ON SET Kubrick decided to be mean to Shelly AND told Jack Nicholson to try to improvise the iconic line and try to break 127 doors down to finally get Shelly to get easily scared

@@theryanreynoldsfan3674 Kubrick wanted real fear,so he purposely didn’t inform Shelly so Jack could axe the door with the famous line. In the actual clip she looked like her heart could have gave out. Another reason Shelly was just not cut out for that role. I’m more for a woman in this role that is more brave instead of scared. In fact Shelly could have been stronger,if Kubrick didn’t scare her to death. Here on out even with the ghost scenes,Shelly was not informed of them only Jack knew.
