At 10:38 I mention the 75th anniversery of Thomas and friends. I didn't know if it was true at the time of recording but I can confirm it to be true. Here's to 75 years of everyone's favourite cheeky blue tank engine!

Absolutely splendid job man! I remember the other videos of your Thomas Lego models and this one along with the Jet Engine takes the cake! The decals you did are magnificent, not to mention that classic face you gave him! Truly a great way to celebrate the 75th Anniversary coming up May 12th! Keep up the great work, you're amazing!

Should add 1x1x1 yellow rounds to the front windows, and add vintage red or black magnets to the front and back, so you can add back buffers and still have magnets.

If it is possible, could you do a building tutorial on this beautiful Lego Thomas The Tank Engine. I would love that.
@TritonBrickRailway4 жыл бұрын
It will be difficult to recreate but I'll only do it if there is a strong enough demand
@thomasthebasedengine33684 жыл бұрын
@@TritonBrickRailway Ok, you are right btw on the fact this is Thomas's 75th Anniversary. I thought that was the reason you built him, but if not then that is just as fine as if you intentionally did build him.

This is quite possibly the very best Lego Thomas MOC that has or ever will be! I love it, and am just discovering all the awesome content! Keep it up, man! Any chance you know which specific Thomas Tpy you got the face from? Or was it perhaps a basic wooden Thomas Toy?
@TritonBrickRailway4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The toy was an old one from either early 90s or late 80s. It was a 4 wheel toy as well with a basic shape but I don't know what toy line it was labelled under
@gojiking54564 жыл бұрын
That's alright. I've done some research and think I've found a train. Your and others' videos are making me quite interested in building one of these for my own collection! I only wonder about how to go about the red lining/trim decals.
@TritonBrickRailway4 жыл бұрын
@@gojiking5456 there's something called trim line tape you can get from model shops that's what I'm using
@gojiking54564 жыл бұрын
@@TritonBrickRailway That sounds great! I'll be looking for some. Any chance you might be doing a tutorial on this updated version of Thomas? I would be very interested in that. In fact, I'm looking to base my own off of yours, and modify it just a smidge to accompany a motor where the drivers would potentially go. Just to see if anything can come of that idea...
@TritonBrickRailway4 жыл бұрын
@@gojiking5456 a build guide won't be easy because I'd have to take it apart and remember how to rebuild it, plus the lining tape goes over several bricks and they can lose stickiness easily and may be untidy when reapplying them. So sadly for now I have to say no
