Hi Jordan, your beach looks great! My wife and I both agree about several things you are considering. First the boardwalk looks realistic in the dark sand color as most boardwalks in real life get covered with sand anyway. Also when viewed from the backside the noodle shop is perfect the way it is. In real life buildings aren’t all the same size and in a row. The small noodle shop looks right and it allows a nice alleyway to the beach and the area behind it needs some tables for the noodle customers. The lifeguards are also looking fantastic now. I know it’s not my city but except for maybe tiling around back of the noodle shop the beach is done and perfect!

OMG I have a good idea! So you know the Hollywood sign? I think you should make one exactly like that on the raised platform but it says BricksieLand. Because the sign for bricksieland in the front entrance of the amusement park isn’t too big.

sand castles in the back of the beach doesn't really make sense because to build sand castles you need water or wet sand from beneath the top sand surface and to get it you dig a hole, so farther away you are from the shore, then you need to dig much deeper.

Could a popcorn/ice-cream piece be used to add a puff of smoke coming out of the train funnel above the toy shop door? Your suggestion of sand blue tile on the boardwalk sounds great and would tie in nicely with your train station platform. Your city is looking wonderful! And Millie and Benjamin are adorable. Their laughter takes me back to when my kids were that age.

Bricksie, to be honest, the original toyshop, had a cool shape. A toyshop has lots of walking paths between the storage racks. So here is my suggestion you do. 1: Staircase from the road side, in-warts. 2: Add more toy bins on ground floor, it's the beach, where are the kites, the buckets and shovels to make your sand castle? 3: The old corner second floor looked good, how about using that look, mirrored, for the second floor, beach side, make it hang over a bit, like older buildings used to do, because groundfloor was taxed & needed buying, but the first & second, hanging over the road, wasn't, use it and create a place you can shelter when it rains. That it gives that shopkeeper a place to live... Yes, a second floor apartment, use the corner shop, mirrored, for the beach side and the two alt builds for inspiration for the road side. As for the Noedels shop, look very good at the three build options, one is for a street where you have house on ground floor & first floor. Might work very well for the street side of that build. Look very careful, there, it might give you some ideas. Get another two noedels shops, that way you can make a row of four small houses, each with a shop below them. Use a alternative option for the Toyshop, for one, at the minimum. Sure, it means some rework of the beach or relocating the Toyshop to a location on the other side of that beach shopping road, thus giving you enough free room to play with the corner building first floor, without a problem, at all. So yeah, get some parts collected and enhance that Toyshop some more. Then do the same for your noedels-shop.

Just wanted to suggest something again (in case you missed it last time). Maybe as a big-ish project for after amusement park. Replace the multi-colored tower around the support post with a giant glass tower. Have a bunch of observation platforms up it and a big helipad up high and then also run a wire cable from post to shelf above observatory and hang some cable cars off it. As an extra cool feature of tower you could change the glass color or layout to spell a giant BRICKSIE down the front side. You could also stick LED light strips on post before building to light up tower from inside. Much love from Brisbane, Australia. :) p.s. Also still think you should run an LED strip under the raised platform and put clear panels on back of the train station there (and dungeon you plan to do) to light them up from behind.

Your city is an inspiration for us! My son (12) and I ar building a city (more a village) of our own but we are focusing on these cool 3-1 sets! They are more affordable and we can work on the streets and stuff. I think it’s great to do something like this with my son. Love it!

I think the skate park looks "too clean" and could use a little creative painting, maybe have some "graffiti" or colored tiles within the main skate area. If you have some printed Dot tiles maybe put some in there so it can look like sidewalk chalk art? And maybe a little bit on the boardwalk strip too, because you know it's prime real estate for tagging. It's an option for another project to consider refining details.

The beach promenade/boardwalk is looking good! Idea for the roofs there: Maybe a billboard or two could look good on top of some of those roofs. Or perhaps a rooftop garden; to add some nice color amidst the grey rooftops.

I forgot to say the sand castle looks great. To .yeer the life gard tower are mostly on USA beaches s we don't have them at beaches where I live. May be gold coast queen's land has them or Sydney. I know has. Them cas of that beach tv show of the life guards .I got one life gard build on my beach that's from a orler city beach set that's nice as that has a beach caffa an beach serf shop .and a walk over bridge to go over the. River where it conect s to the sea 😊.at lest you got fear amount of space for your beach .

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You never finish a layout. There will always be new buildings to add and you know as well as I that if it looks complete you will want to add lights.
