A tiny, probably accidental, detail that I love is while Space-Age is star-faring, his torso mode evokes the common Carbot Hood Chest we've all come to know. Especially the more Bay-themed ones of Bee and TF:P Knockout

Even though they're Autobots, the robot modes really make me think of the classic villain trio trope with a slick leader, a big brute, and a smart, weasely little guy. Perhaps they're a more heroic version of that.

my headcanon is the reason why the trio are mismatched is because originally they didn't have anything to do with each other and they became a combiner team later in life (maybe they were Shockwave's former test subjects or were upgraded by the Autobots)

One suggestion I might add; a human companion. This came from the ridiculous idea of space age coming down from space, smelter rolling up, Sunnyside comes up and the human companion steps out. That is the entire reason why I think there should be a human companion. I also think it would be funny.

I know it was said that StarBounder's head piece was more of a helmet, but the whole time looking at it I couldn't help but to think of that anime Space Dandy with his pompadour hair style. (Still love the content, and it's far better than anything I could ever try dreaming up so keep up the great work.)

I imagine Space-Age got separated from the rest of his team at one point, who came to Earth and scanned vehicles. Space-Age on the other hand had scanned an alien craft while on his own and it resulted in the team being mismatched in their alt modes. Anyways, may we please have your original takes on Optimus Prime or Megatron now?
