Lego Trigger Release Mechanisms for FLL!

Another useful contraption in FLL is this kind of mechanisms, used for dumping, grabbing, shooting or lifting things. They can move objects around without the need of motors. The main part is an elastic band, blocked by a pin that releases when the trigger is pushed.

Cool Design! And the editing is awesome! You should check out stud.io, it's made by bricklink and it's way better than ldd. It even has built in rendering with pov-ray, so you don't need to export to bluerender.

Thank you so much! Bluerender anyway is super simple to use, but you have to use the ugly LDD categories before. We will try that out :)

I haven't used it much, but LDCad can modify rubber bands, and you can import it into stud.io.
