Man, the two black ones are *really* impressive builds. The one looked like it had fully independent suspension on the rear four wheels, but not only that the entire rear section beneath the flatbed could articulate as well. That's some serious technic engineering!

Interesting to see an EV3 in a trail truck. Those Lmotors are very powerful in the right applications. The weight of the EV3 does add some difficulties though.

Truck lost a battery box... That's basically rupturing your fuel tank bro... I guess it helps in this case that Lego tires can't really hold any pressure which means that with some of those heavy trucks they really flatten out the tires faces on the rubble to really get some excellent grip...

Great job filming, I wish there were more events like this in the US.... $60 for licensing, seems a bit expensive, though definitely worth it for better music. I wish youtube had a better music library, and I have only found a handful of good music that is royalty free/usable with purchase, without an expensive license. Do you have any good recommendations for audio libraries? I also wonder with the 28 days later/crisis music in your earlier videos. Did you just not monetize them, or were they available for personal use?

Of course not. The only way to try to submit anything is Lego Ideas program where like 1 submission out of millions actually makes it through.

Nathan Bell You have to understand that Lego has very strict rules on what is allowed in a set and my creations are not even remotely close to complying. Oh, and they already have people working on sets - they're called designers and I'm not one of them.

@@searme I bought a book and it offers great info! I have built a trial truck now and included an unusual gear reduction: on the motor i put the 12t gear woth the 36t gear and at the wheels i put 8t gear with 24t gear and then put a motor on the other axle and did the same. But i haven't included a differential. Do you think that adding a differential will reduce the model's offroad capabilities? (The model can climb approx 50.5 degrees upphill)

Sunlight interferes with IR receivers. LEGO was made to be used indoors, which is why they chose to use IR receivers instead of radio.
