Lego Worlds - Easy and Quick way to get chests for the Designer's Delight Trophy Achievement

For people that come here, pulling their hair out stuck at only receiving weapons from the chests. Fear not - the final pieces actually drop at some point.... I almost lost my mind, but finally got my final piece today after getting weapons for an unknown number of chests.

@MrThelonicus my last piece took about 20 tries, I was thinking that I wasn't going to get it, then it showed up.

@@MrThelonicus Was the items u needed in the chests because I am getting Zip from anyone. I checked my tile list they say u need to get all the red bricks/tyles/corners/slopes I need about 44 of them still but I have tried for 3 days without a thing The billionaire trophy was BAD but this designer delight is awful

Thank you. Just managed to get this trophy, but using the world Coleman-Chi-279 because if you go to the snowy biome there are like 25 chests very close together. I had to create/delete the world around 4 times but finally got it. The most frustrating part is when you only have one brick left to get and it basically forces you to get EVERY brick build first, and then around 30 items before you finally get that last brick!

@Aidan.w congrats on the trophy. That is one of my biggest issue is that there is no guarantee way to get a brick from a chest, you can open a numerous number of chests and not get anything.

If u don’t have all the red piece bricks I went to the first coordinates and it was an old dilapidated barn not a nice new red one as in the video So where do u get the other bricks? Do u get them from the trouble maker I have had loads of him. Is that the idea? I find this game very…… confusing

@jaja8951 I had played a lot of the game before, so I had done a lot of the troublemakers and balloon guy bricks, then I started tackling this world. You can alternate between those two and this world. I did find going to vampire land did help moving things around.

@ I chase the little guy whenever he appears but it’s just baguettes and crap I get. The balloon guy stopped giving tiles/bricks as well. I did get a paint gun for the seagull trophy but I can’t get a flaming seagull or a giant piano for that play all the notes trophy. This game is so…… hit or miss Thanks for the reply

@jaja8951 to get everything, I had 20+ worlds so that I can try to find everything. Some were random worlds at first. It us a long trophy process.

@@Killarpong I eventually got coordinates for a world that every time I opened it I got to open it another 5-6 times the same with another chest WHAT! I did get the giant piano in a chest and I got the ‘all notes’ trophy. The biggest problem I had was getting that 7 vehicular trophy what a pain. My problem was that after collecting them all and driving them u need to press square to operate the machinery and I didn’t do this on the lawn mower. After 3 attempts of lining them up and going through them the trophy finally popped ffs

@@Killarpongthis may be a late reply but I gave up with no luck and recently got back grinding. I have discovered that I don’t need the chest bricks but the troublemaker and trader ones. It is quite boring as I have to just wait around but it seems to work.

@iFoxOnTop thanks for the update. Some peices are only available from the troublemakers and others from the balloon salesman. When I did this trophy, I had all the troublemakers and balloon guys done. I just needed to find a bunch of treasure chests. Glad that you were able to complete this.

Wait, so that means some bricks are only obtained by troublemakers and the balloon guy?

Yes, what I think is there is some bricks that only drop from troublemakers, treasure chests or the balloon guy. I did the balloon guy and troublemakers until I got 15 or so troublemakers and balloon guy without bricks, then switched to chests.

I’ve got all the bricks from chests and trouble makers I need 1 more brick the 1x12 plate and I’ve been to at least 30 balloon and nothing I don’t know what to do

@@Killarpong Not yet. I opened about 20-30 chests and the only things I get are those inventory items like swords. There are about 55 bricks left I need. Caught some Troublemakers and still, no bricks.

@RiMoa try going to the vampire world, usually when I was stuck, a change of scenery helped

I did exactly as in the video and the chests included a pickaxe, carrot launcher, bow and others and I don't know what to do to win this trophy

For the Designer's Delight trophy, you need the blocks from chests, troublemakers and the balloon vendor. If you did 30 rounds of chests, then you would need things from the other 2. You can also go to vampire land DLC, to see if thr troublemakers and vendors have bricks there

Why did I keep getting random repeated weapons and some random buildings that doesn't attach to this trophy at all? So do I need to keep trying? I have quit on this game a long time ago and has just recently been back

Sometimes it takes a while, but if you do 10 or so run without a piece, I would suggest going to see troublemakers and vendors to see if any of them show up there.

@@Killarpong have you reach the Plat trophy yet? If yes, how long did it take you. I've open 20 chest in a row at least still haven't gotten 1 bricks

@@MrSloth-kx9zz I did get the trophy, playing on and off, I had stopped because of grinding trophies. From my first to last trophy, it was 2 years and 3 months. I would have to login to the game, but I am assuming that I have a total of 200 hours, a good portion was playing with my son. If you haven't got a piece yet, I would switch to look for troublemakers and vendors

Hello. Can someone help me? I got all the troublemakers, they only drop equipment, and no more balloons sell bricks. I opened like 40 chests and didn’t get a single brick. But I have 41 left. Do you have a solution for that? Thanks.

Delete some of your old worlds and try the trick again.

Not all pieces will show up in chests, if, I had cleaned out the troublemakers and balloon vendors before tackling the chests

Make sure you put the G in the right block when finding the world. Not sure if that is your issue. Let me know

Man i have left 1 piece left, ive searched 35 chest and nothing, also troublemakers stopped having bricks and the ballon guy stopped selling

Try going to the monster land and see if it shows up in on the balloon guy or troublemakers. Let me know if that helps

I really dislike this trophy. I only have one more piece left (1x8 Plate specifically) and I finished all Troublemakers and chests I seem to only get weapons and items like fish. The trader also has gone several times without giving me a piece item 😭😭

IVE GOTTEN THE PLATINUM THANK YOU FOR THE HELP. (i think I had one piece fall off the map in one world and the game still had it there but never gave it to me, I deleted all my worlds and gotten it on the 4th chest)

@@Killarpong I don’t get it man… I’m on 2 left still and I just seriously am ready to throw my Xbox into the fire because RNG is disgusting… for all I know it could take years if it really wanted too… it’s all just probability… and I feel like I’m missing something like maybe they’re not showing in the chest for a reason maybe? I dunno. The trader has ran out and so has the troublemaker they have for a good 2/3 hours now been giving nothing because there is nothing.

@@DeclansGuides if you don't get one in 15 runs, I believe that you have them all from the chests, but you should switch it up and go to a desert one with the pyramids. Also, go to the monster world and hit up troublemakers and vendors.
