To work on other projects was the primary reason I believe. They gotta work on where the money is. And they were working on a new game engine for the Lego Star Wars game, which will hopefully be an improvement for future lego games, even possibly a Lego Worlds 2 or similar style game. I think in this day and age, the money for them in a game like that, would be adding themed content as paid DLC. As well as Vehicle customization, I think they have some of that atleast, in the new Lego 2KDrive

I'm thinking that the cancelled content is planned for the sequel to lego worlds and if not I surly hope that the cancelled content gets added all of it fans would love it well there's this one cat from this unused content video with a non lego looking cat that could be improved on and the things that can't fight should be able to fight.
